Get ready for another Rockin’ BLOCK PARTY to kick start the summer season! 3 Live Bands 7-10pm NEW this year, The Blue Ridge BIG BAND will entertain you and keep you dancing the night away on the south end near Earthworks Gallery. Cutthroat Shamrock, Appalachian Punk Rock will entertain the crowd near Tipping Point Brewing. And back again by popular demand, The 96.5 House Band returns to center stage near Pheasant Hill. Many shops & galleries remain open for the party along with other fine downtown restaurants & eateries. “KIDS on MAIN” Children’s Activities 6-7pm at several downtown businesses. Beginning May 5, Mondays are for YOU. Between the hours of 9-10am, any DWA business is invited to drop by the DWA office. Please feel welcome to visit our office with suggestions, information, new ideas, concerns, etc. during that hour. The DWA staff and/or DWA board member(s) will be available. As needs change so will those present. We may schedule presentations during that hour. We are committed to working with you. If this power-hour works well, we will continue. It can be a valuable networking forum - bonding with colleagues, becoming friends & partners in success! Committed to making a difference & using all the tools & resources to survive & succeed.
