Gorgeous cream and green petals with a strong, maroon-red heart. The flowers

between a Nepalese and Oriental Lily, the name basically meaning ‘happy love’. A

Vallota - Scarborough lily
The bold scarlet trumpet flowers are 8-10cm wide, have
decorative yellow-tipped stamens and are produced
in late summer in clusters of 3-8 on a 60cm tall stems.
Scarborough Lilies are native to South Africa and are
closely related to Hippeastrums. Easy to grow and likes
a light and sunny position. Although not hardy, a cool
greenhouse in winter is all the protection it needs in cool
