Job Description:
1- To perform detailed inspection of the activities executed by the
subcontractors in the area assigned with the objective of obtaining the quality
of work which conforms to: Contractual Documents; Construction Drawings
and Specification (include variation); Referenced codes and Standards.
2- To witness tests and file test reports with accepted Requested for
inspection(RFI)
3- When a subcontractors workmanship is not as per the contractual documents,
specification, drawings or the referenced codes and standards, the inspector
shall write jobsite surveillance reports and address these immediately to the
superintendent of his discipline to take necessary action, will provide daily
reports listing all QCI(instructions) and NCRs (nonconformities) issued and
will address it the area QC Superintendent for further action
4- To ensure that electrical materials and equipments supplied by
Subcontractors conform to the technical specifications.
5- To ensure that Subcontractors are working with the latest drawing
revision/approve.
6- To obtain approval from Site Engineering before accepting deviation from the
drawings and/or specification and to report to the area QC Superintendent
any deviations.
7- To be on site the full duration of Subcontractors activities each day.
8- To ensure and maintain a climate of trust, confidence and team spirit amongst
the site team.
9- To become thoroughly familiar with Site Health and Safety Program.
10- To execute special duties as may be assigned from timed to time, ensuring
that regular functions are not jeopardized.
11- In charge for Planning, Design; Estimate and Implementation for all electrical
requirements including control and protection in power plant, hospital facilities
and auxiliary building for renovation and new constructed facilities.
