Minority Achievers Program
YMCA OF SNOHOMISH COUNTY
The Minority Achievers Program (MAP) is
a leadership program for students of color
and immigrant students ages 11-19.
Adult Achievers from the community help you
make positive life choices and provide homework
assistance, motivation and support in a positive
environment. They offer business tours, internships,
and job shadowing. MAP also provides parent
support groups, college scholarships, financial aid
and college preparation assistance, and special
programs on issues that matter to teens and their
families. Reach higher–join MAP!
WHEN YOU JOIN MAP, YOU WILL:
• Make new friends and join them in
weekly after school sessions that
help you with homework and build
skills for success.
• Take trips to local businesses,
colleges, and universities to
learn about education and career
opportunities.
• Discover college scholarships and
funding options.
• Find support and friendship with
teens and adults who care about
you and your future.
There is no cost to join.
Snohomish County’s MAP serves 15
