IT IS TIME TO PRE-ORDER OUR NEW
BIOTHANE®DRESS BELT BUCKLES.
We are going to send out one of each size buckle
in Mid-May. One buckle favours thicker BioThane®
products, while the other favours lighter weights.
Along with the buckles we will be sending out a
sell sheet with pricing and pre-order form. We
will be heavily promoting this item in upcoming
publications, so don’t miss out on this great new
product. Pre-orders need to be submitted to
BioThane by 5/31/2015 because we have leadtimes

BASKETWEAVE EMBOSS WILL MAKE
A GREAT WAIST BELT. In June, we will be
sending you a 50 foot sample roll with a sell sheet.
This new basketweave emboss fits great with the
BioThane®dress belt buckles. It will be offered in
semi-gloss and no-gloss and can be bought in rolls
or punched into belts. Along with the buckle, we
will be heavily promoting this new emboss as well.

Coming Soon
We are working on new hang tags for dog collars
and horse products. We still have plenty of the
current ones available. Let us know if you need
more before the switch-over occurs. These hang
tags are a great thing for the manufacturers as a way
to stand out in the market place by distinguishing
that their products are made with BioThane®.

websites. One will focus on Animal and one on
Industrial. We felt this was the best thing to do to
ensure that our web users have the best experience
they can and are able to find the information they
are looking for. We hope to have these launched

market. We are more excited than ever
about the future with Rhea in India!
RHEA - India - BioThane
One of the many pleasures of working at BioThane is the opportunity to
develop friendships with people all over the world. Earlier this year, Jesse
and I had the privilege of visiting our distributor and friend Mr. Devadeson
Thangaraj in his home country of India. Mr. Thangaraj is the President and
Owner of Rhea Equisolution Private LTD, BioThane’s distributor in India.
Mr. Thangaraj started Rhea in 2008. He has visited us at Bio two times
since then and we usually meet once a year at the Spoga show in Cologne,
Germany. Mr. Thangaraj and his team have worked very hard to
develop a stable and growing market for BioThane® in India. It
was time for us to pack our bags and experience India for the
first time.
First, we travelled to Mr. Thangaraj’s home in Chennai to meet
his family and spend time socializing and experiencing India. After
many years of hearing stories about Mr. Thangaraj’s family, it was a
great pleasure to finally meet them in person. It was especially fun
to meet his granddaughter Rhea, who is the company namesake.
Mr. Thangaraj is truly a proud grandpa!
Next, it was off to Delhi for a day of sightseeing and then onto Kanpur where
Rhea has its sales office and warehouse. Kanpur is known as the “leather
city” and it is where the market for BioThane® exists as well. We spent the
next few days visiting customers with Thangaraj and his team. First we went
to meet the Rhea team at their office and warehouse. The team is led in
Kanpur by Mr. Rakesh Srivastava. We have worked with Rakesh for many
years and it was great to finally meet him! After traveling to see customers
for a few days we came away very impressed by the excellent job Rakesh
On the final day Thangaraj, Rakesh and
Ritul, put us back on the train to Delhi
for our flight home. On the flight home I
had time to reflect on some take-aways:
1. The Indian people are friendly, proud
and helpful.
2. The climate in February/March was
perfect for a visit from two fair skinned
Americans that live in the North.
3. The food was terrific. Mr. Thangaraj
was kind enough to have the cooks go
easy on the spices for Jesse and me.
4. We saw many wild animals that we
are not used to seeing at home.
5. Traffic is crazy! Driving in Kanpur is
a driving experience unlike any I’ve had
before. A special thanks to Mr. Rakesh
who made driving and
finding locations in Kanpur
an art form. Jesse and I
would still be looking for
Mars Impex if it weren’t for
Rakesh!!
In closing, I want to express
our sincere thanks to Mr.
Thangaraj and his team who
made us feel at home, safe
and comfortable throughout our entire
journey. They were all excellent hosts
whose thoughtfulness was genuine and
heartfelt.

Original” campaign. We are using
harness shop posters, print ads,
and show banners with the “Drive

In the EU we are promoting
