PARENTAL CHOICE ADVOCATES: Fighting for Change, Achieving Results MARCH 22-24, 2007 PHILADELPHIA MARRIOTT DOWNTOWN PHILADELPHIA, PA Welcome to Symposium 2007: The Seventh Annual Meeting of the Black Alliance for Educational Options! Dear Parental Choice Advocate: We are excited and proud to invite you to Symposium 2007, BAEO’s Seventh Annual Meeting! BAEO has been a leader and has had tremendous impact in the parental choice movement. We are relentless in pursuing our goal to give parents a choice and give children a chance – a chance to be an active participant in securing a quality education that transform lives. We gather each year at the Symposium to rededicate ourselves to the struggle for equality and opportunity for our children. The theme for Symposium 2007, “Parental Choice Advocates: Fighting for Change, Achieving Results,“ furthers the legacy of struggle that defines BAEO. This year’s theme stands firmly and proudly on our mission to actively support parental choice to empower families and increase quality educational options for Black children. We enthusiastically ask you to join us in this fight. Come to Symposium 2007 and interact and network with parents, emerging leaders, clergy, policy makers, students and educators. Help us save our children. We look forward to seeing you and we promise to inform, inspire and empower. The struggle continues, Howard Fuller Chair, Board of Directors Deborah M.
