Red House Home School Group
Informational Meeting
May 16th, 6:30 pm ~ Fellowship Hall
If you are interested in joining our
home school group or learning about
homeschooling, we invite you to join us.
Red House Home School Group is looking for teachers and assistants to help teach
this fall and spring on Tuesday mornings. We have several openings for volunteers
and class topics vary. Currently, there are interests in starting a chess club, student
government, gardening class, and sewing class to name a few. The home school
group is open to other ideas. If you would like to help in this ministry, please
contact Stephanie Somerville (541-761-8437) or Melonie Napier (859-200-4206).

5/11 - Can Christianity really change my life?
High School: Mexico Mission Trip Training, Sunday evenings, May 15, 22, June 5 & 12,
3:30 pm. It is imperative that each student and adult going be present at each training.
The Big Event: Friday, May 27, 6 pm - 6 am. Cost: (If at least 40 students) $30; (if 35-39
students) $35; (if 30-34 students) $40. Includes Sky Zone and Kids Club (basketball court, 2
racquetball courts, the big playground, and the swimming pool - swimsuit policy does apply for guys, no briefs and no sagging; for girls, modest one piece or tankini, no midriff).
Deadline: Sunday, May 15. Adult chaperones are needed, including a certified lifeguard; if
interested, let Dwayne know.
X-Fuge on Mission, June 20-24 (Union College @ Barbourville, KY): Balance is due by
Sunday, May 29. (You will be notified this week of the amount of your student’s balance).

(thru July 1) plus Hotel (approx $100). After July 1, cost goes to $149 (thru Oct 1) plus
Hotel. All that is due now is a $50 non-refundable deposit with the balance being due in
November.
