Termo Makina San. ve Tic. A.S. was founded in 1966 by Muzaffer Gazioglu as the first
privately owned heavy machinery company in Turkey.
In 1968 our company started production of heating equipments and heavy machineries at
Istinye (ISTANBUL) plant.
In 2005 Termo Makina enlarged its manufacturing operations by moving to a new location
in Düzce, which is situated on a premise of 46,000 m2 and has a closed manufacturing area
of 11,000 m2.

HISTORY:
Termo Makina San. Ve Tic. A.S. was established as Turkey's first privately owned heavy machinery
manufacturing company in 1966 by Muzaffer Gazioglu. The company's original name was Termo Teknik
and in its beginnings, Termo Teknik had two main manufacturing activities: heavy machinery and heating
equipment, which it started manufacturing on a large scale in 1968 at its Istinye Plant in Istanbul. Up to
1990, these two operations were carried out exclusively at the Istinye Plant.
In 1990, Termo Teknik’s heating operations were transferred to a newly built plant in Corlu and the Istinye
Plant continued its operations, focused mainly on heavy machinery activities. In 1994, the division of the
heavy machinery and heating divisions was formalized and separated into two different companies by
transferring the heavy machinery operations into a newly formed company, Termo Makina, established
exclusively for these operations.
In 2000, Termo Makina purchased a 46,000m2 open area from the Duzce Industrial Zone located 220km
east of Istanbul on the way to Ankara, and proceeded to build a completely modern facility. The move
from the original Istinye plant into this newly built facility was accomplished in 2005.
Since 2005, over 14 million € has been invested in the modernization of the Duzce facility, which has
expanded its original closed area from 7,500 m2 to 11,000m2 with three major operations; machining,
steel construction and stamping. In 2011 alone, investments of 3 million € were made at the Duzce plant,
enhancing the company’s ability to serve its domestic and international customers.
WHO WE ARE:
Termo Makina is a company involved in the machine tool and component manufacturing business. The scope of the
company includes research, design and the manufacture of precision machine tools and the manufacture of large
components to very demanding specifications and tolerances.
For machining, Termo Makina has invested in CNC technologies, replacing the old conventional machines used at
the first plant with newly purchased CNC machines. The Duzce facility is now one of the major machining facilities
in Turkey, with piece work capacity of up to 60 mtons.
In terms of steel construction, Termo Makina has the capacity to handle up to 82 mton loads with up to 12m-hook
height. Termo Makina also possesses welding certificates enabling welding of up to 200mm thickness.
In terms of stamping, Termo Makina has been servicing the radiator industry, working with most major brands.
Termo Makina has been ISO 9001:2000 certified since September 2003.
Since 1966, Termo Makina has earned a reputation as a reliable supplier of quality equipment, earning a reputation
domestically and abroad. Our heavy machinery activities have involved many major projects in different industries
such as iron and steel, casting, galvanizing, metal forming, aluminium, mining, marine, tire, recycling and heating.
Over the years our product lines have also focused on cranes, transfer cars, melting shop machineries, rolling mill
machineries, ladle and tundish mechanisms.

In all our business activities, we have always focused on maintaining international
