blacksmith William Riverin, the
Riverin forge quickly became a
major attraction for the city of
La Malbaie, Quebec. Family run
business, it gains a great recognition
throughout the region, thanks to the
wrought iron sculptures of William
Louis Riverin’s grand-son. Today,
closed and cited as a historical
monument, the only things
reamaining from the Riverin forge
are the work of his blacksmiths
throughout history showing their
ancestral knowledge, as shown in
this imposing weathervane.
