The ETK s.r.o. company with the registered office in Jablonec
nad Nisou has been active in the Czech market since 1991.
In Germany, under the name of Tuma München, even since 1980.
Our company keeps on development and expansion, in order to
be able to respond to the needs of the petrochemical market,
not only national, but also international.
That was also one of the reasons to establish the subsidiary
ETK POLONIA company with the registered office in Krakow,
Poland, in 2003.

ABOUT US
The term “ecology” is used in several meanings.
In its original meaning, the ecology is a biological science
dealing with the relationship of organisms and theirTechnical
environment and the mutual relationship of organisms.
Further, the term ecology is used in a broad sense
for the environmental protection.
And this is the sense which is typical and crucial
for our company.
Thanks to our technology you can directly protect
the environment against contamination with oil products.

The 5-degree protection according to EN 13 160
The protection degree 5 registers any leakage
of liquids from the tank,
the detector in the shaft detects the product presence
outside the tank.
The protection degree 4 indicates any change
of the tank contents, i.e. leakage again (level gauges).
The protection degree 3 again indicates any seepage
under the liquid level in the tank or piping
(seepage detectors).
The protection degree 2 consists in the detection of liquid
seepage in the double-shell system (this liquid contains
a chemical anti-freeze and it is therefore harmful to the
environment).
Continuous measuring
The protection degree 1 indicates as the only system any
untightness of the tanks and pipe distribution systems
before the surrounding soil has been contaminated.

The ETK company specializes in the reconstruction of old
one-shell tanks which do not meet the standards for the
storage of oil products or chemicals any more.

The tank reconstruction consists in a non-violent and
simple addition of a second full shell to the tank so that
an intermediate space between both shells is created.
The intermediate space is continuously monitored and it is
able to register any minor tank untightness before the
surrounding environment can be contaminated.
We will modernize your tank in only one day with our
comprehensive system consisting of a special foil and
a untightness indication device.
All that according to the valid EN 13 160(ATEX) standards,
without performing construction and excavating works,
without any demanding decontamination of the original
environment, without any disposal of the old tank,
without any standstill of the petrol station, because all
works will be performed under the continuous
operation of the remaining tanks.
You can save not only time but also money in this way.
Such reconstruction is 70% cheaper when compared to
a complete petrol station reconstruction.
And the most important thing is that in case of any possible
tank repairs, the flexible foil can be taken out,
the tank or the foil is repaired, the foil is inserted back,
and after several hours it works again as the second shell,
and the petrol station is in full operation.
Ask other suppliers of the second tank shells, if another
system allows such repairs?

Our company has introduced the new environmental
quality system according to ISO 9001:2001
and the related management systems according
to the European standards 14 001:2005
and OHSAS 18001:1999 for this activity.
The ETK company has type certificates for
this technology from FTZÚ Ostrava-Radvanice,
VÚ ITC Zlín, PTB Braunschweig and BAM Berlin,
ensuring the quality of material and the performed
works, and thus the system fully complies
with the EU standards.
We follow the newest European standards
ČSN EN 13 160, ČSN EN 75 3415, ČSN 65 0201,
ČSN EN 65 0202.
Our workers are regularly examined and certified
for the non-destructive material testing by the
certification association for the APC staff according
to ČSN EN 473, ISO 9712 and the SECTOR Cert
international certification.
The records of inspection, revision and production
quality are provided according to the valid standards
and they are a part of the order documentation
together with the attests of the delivered material.
