Anne A Message From The Chairperson August is over which means that Labor Day will soon be upon us and so will the first day of school. This means the Annual Cream Cheese Festival is almost here and so is the Fall Foliage Tour. This year’s Cream Cheese Festival will be held on September 17th and the fall tour will be on October 1st. I want to personally thank everyone who volunteered to work at this year’s New York State Fair for the Chamber. The fair is a wonderful way for us to show everyone what we have to offer in Lewis County. I love showing everyone what wonderful recreation areas we have and sharing all the technology the chamber has to offer to all of its visitors. This month’s Business after Hours is our annual meeting so I do hope you plan on attending this event. The Chamber will be recognizing many of our chamber members at this year’s meeting for their continued support to the chamber. A side note, I want you to put on your thinking caps and think about someone worthy of the title Business Person of the Year. If you have someone in mind keep your eyes on the chambers web page for more information on how you can nominate that special community member. I hope everyone has had a wonderful summer and I hope you are as excited about the upcoming fall season as I am. I look forward to seeing everyone at this month’s Business after Hours.
