From Austin
Drive to Bee Cave via Bee Caves Road, Southwest Parkway or Texas Highway 71. From Bee
Cave, take Highway 71 north. Turn left at the traffic light at Ranch Road 3238 (Hamilton Pool
Road). Look for the Shield Ranch sign and entrance approximately three miles on the left, across
from Verde’s Restaurant.
From Dripping Springs
Take Ranch Road 12 north until it ends at Ranch Road 3238 (Hamilton Pool Road). Turn right.
Look for the Shield Ranch sign and entrance approximately four miles on the right, across from
Verde’s Restaurant.
From Austin-Bergstrom International Airport
When leaving the airport, look for signs for Texas Highway 71 West (E. Ben White Blvd). After
6 miles, you will reach the “Y” in Oak Hill. Take a slight right and Proceed on Highway 71 West
for another 7 miles. Turn left at the traffic light at Ranch Road 3238 (Hamilton Pool Road). Look
for the Shield Ranch sign and entrance approximately three miles on the left, across from Verde’s
Restaurant.
Directions to Ranch House
Enter and proceed on paved road for approximately two miles. The paved road ends at the Ranch
House.
Please drive slowly and watch for wildlife and livestock.
Parking
As you approach the Ranch House, you will cross a cattle guard with green gates on either side.
Please park in the parking area on the right immediately after you cross the cattle guard.
