In 1989 when I started Displaytech, it was apparentthat many companiesworldwide
were attracted to the low prices offered by Chinese manufacfurers. Equally, many
companies failed in their attempts to work with suppliers in China due to poor
communicationsand cultural differences.
My vision for Displaytechwas to provide a bridge for companieswanting to benefit from
the China costs but at the same time have product that met specificationsand quality
requirements.
Now, fourteen years later, that bridge is strongerthan ever.
With agentsand distributorsin almost every industrialisedcountry communicatingwith
us has never been easier. Local technical and commercial support is available, so
languageand time zonesare no longer a factor.
Displaytechhas constantlysoughtto offer the latesttechnologyand has investedheavily
in new equipment to provide the widest possible range of technical solutions. So,
whether it's a custom designedTN LCD panel, or a full product developmentwith ASIC
and injection molded plastics, Displaytech is able to offer the most cost effective and
technicallycorrectsolution.
The 700 employeesat our 78,000 square foot production and engineering facility in
