last years’ entries showed us how
much YOU love your Silverleaf
vacations.
The contest is still running and you have
plenty of time to get your entries in, so
don’t forget your camera on your next
vacation. Send your favorite photos with
a brief description of the vacation
memory your photo captured. The
contest will end on November 1st and
the winning entries will be published in
our Winter, 2011 issue.
Our first place winner will receive $100
in Silverbucks, second place will receive
$50 in Silverbucks and third place will
receive $25 in Silverbucks. Silverbucks
are honored at all our country stores,
activity centers, and can be used to pay
monthly membership dues.

From May 1st through August 1st, more than 200 units, resortwide, received updates, including refinishing furniture, new rugs or
flooring and living room seating.
• Apple Mountain - Refinished furniture in 12 units, and 5 units
received new flooring. The Activity Center Grill was renovated.
• Fox River - Refinished furniture in 22 units, 7 units got new
appliances, and cabinets were painted in 6 units. The miniature
golf course, playground, and basketball courts were renovated.
• Hill Country - Refinished furniture in 21 units, painted interiors
in 6 units, painted cabinets in 5 units, and refinished countertops
in 5 units.
• Holiday Hlls - Refinished furniture in 62 units, replaced the rugs
in 52 units, 15 units received new flooring, and refinished tubs in
10 units. The shuffleboard court was resurfaced and the campground picnic tables were stained.
• Holly Lake - Built new tennis courts, relocated the archery range,
resurfaced the shuffleboard court and added a new karaoke
machine at the Activity Center.
The roads in Section 1 were
repaved and widened.
• Lake O’ The Woods - 22 units
received new living room seating
and 10 units got shower upgrades.
• Orlando Breeze - A new
Orlando Breeze Resort
playground was added.
• Ozark Mountain - Refinished
furniture in 12 units and 11 units got new flooring. The Activity
Center was renovated and a new indoor movie theater was
added. Property signs were updated and parking areas paved.
• Piney Shores - Painted cabinets in 28 units, 18 units received
new flooring, and resort roads were improved.
• Seaside - Built three shade structures between the Activity Center
and beach area and entered into an agreement with a local gym
granting access to Silverleaf owners.
• Timber Creek - Refinished furniture in 5 units, painted interiors
in 5 units and updated property signage.
• The Villages - Refinished furniture in 20 units, 14 units received new
flooring, painted interiors in 7 units, added picnic tables to the grilling
area at the Beach Club and the Marina has four new paddle boats.
