For example, thermowave plate heat exchangers are used for cooling and heating sunflower oil, rapeseed oil and rapeseed methyl ester, as distillate coolers, ester heaters and also as heaters for glycerol. Brewery products Milk products The individual process steps involved in brewing require different temperature levels. The frames come in stainless steel cladding or are fully made of stainless steel, and the plates are either made of stainless steel or of titanium. A top-class finish with a glass bead blasted or polished surface prevents even the smallest deposits. Height-adjustable sanitary feet ensure simple and level positioning of the machine. Adaptation to a heat recovery level of 96 percent was requested by the customer in this instance. In the heart of the northern-most German wine region, Saale-Unstrut, you will find sparkling wine producer Rotkäppchen Sektkellerei. This is where Germany‘s most popular sparkling wine is produced in a multilevel production process. Thanks to the large frame and long carrying bar, additional plates can be added on and the capacity can thereby be extended with ease. The high heat recovery level ensures optimal energy savings. thermowave plate heat exchangers are used as ammonia evaporators for cooling glycol, which is then later used in various cooling processes. The cooling capacity is 650 kW. Krones AG AIDA The 3-stage plate heat exchanger is integrated in a sterile water UHT system. The objective here is to sterilise prepared water so that it can be made available for various machines for the aseptic filling of beverages. Multi-stage plate heat exchangers pose a special challenge in terms of their design, material selection, construction and production. The AIDAblue, operated by the shipping company Aida Cruises and measuring 252 m in length, is the world‘s first cruise ship to have its own brewery on board. A thermowave plate heat exchanger from the thermolinePure range has been integrated in the brewing process to ensure a trouble-free beer production as efficient as possible. A particular challenge here was posed by the requirements placed on technical equipment in shipbuilding, i.e. space-saving design and ship-specific fixtures in line with the U.S. health authorities standards (USPH Standard). Ideally equipped thanks to 20 years of know-how, we were able to offer a multi-stage section machine which combines an excellent price/performance ratio with short delivery times and hygienic design.
