learning in three tech workshops with fun summer camp activities.

offered the courses or traditional
camp experience of Emagination.

Campers take three tech workshops plus Retro Games per two-week session. We operate in two-week sessions because it
gives campers time to make friends, build self-confidence and become part of a community.
We believe that recreation and socializing are essential ingredients to a successful and well-rounded summer camp
experience. That’s why outdoor recreation is one of four periods each day and a key part of the evening program.
IT’S WORTH THE TRIP!
Emagination’s beautiful campuses with modern facilities attract campers from nearby communities,
many states and several foreign countries. That makes us very different from local weeklong
technology camps. It may require a family drive or even an airplane ride, but it’s worth the trip.

FAIRFIELD UNIVERSITY
Fairfield’s beautiful suburban campus is located 40 miles from New York City and less than a
mile off of Interstate 95. Technology workshops are held in one centrally located academic
building and ample field space provide the perfect setting for Emagination’s recreation
program. Overnight campers live with counselors in a suite style residence hall.

BOSTON COLLEGE
Emagination’s programs are held on the beautiful suburban Newton Centre Campus of Boston
College, which is conveniently located near Interstate 90. A dedicated dorm and plenty of
field space compliment a modern academic building all within close proximity on the campus.
Campers also have access to BC’s indoor pool making this an ideal location for camp.

ATLANTA, GEORGIA
Georgia institute of technology
At Georgia Tech, in the heart of Atlanta, Emagination has its own park-like “campus within a
campus”. Technology workshops and overnight accommodations are located in a dedicated
building that is conveniently located just off of Interstate 75/85. A new dining hall and plenty
of field space for recreation are just steps away.

LAKE FOREST, ILLINOIS
LAKE FOREST COLLEGE
Located outside Chicago in the North Shore town of Lake Forest, Lake Forest College is
situated on 107 park-like acres. Overnight campers live in a modern suite-style residence hall.
Technology workshops are all held in a centreally located buidling. Ample playing fields and
an indoor pool round out the facilities.

ROSEMONT COLLEGE
Located less than 10 miles west of the historic city of Philadelphia, Rosemont College
occupies a quiet suburban campus with impressive gothic architecture. Emagination has
exclusive use of a modern residence hall for both technology workshops and overnight
accommodations. Ample outdoor fields, a nearby dining hall and indoor common areas make
Rosemont an ideal location for camp.
TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE
Transportation for overnight program participants is available to and from local airports, bus and rail terminals for a $40 fee each way. In
Connecticut, Illinois, Masachusetts and Pennsylvania, we pick up and drop off Day campers at local train stations. The cost is $80 per session.
We also help parents of Day campers make carpooling arrangements at no charge.

COMPUTER CAMP PROGRAM - Typical days
Typical Weekday
Every camper has three tech workshops & one recreation
workshop each day.
8:00 AM Powering On!
Start the day off right with a great breakfast. Share stories
from the last night’s Evening Program.
8:45 AM System Check!
All-camp meeting to get psyched for the day.
9:00–Noon Put Your Processor to Work!
Two 90-minute workshops to thrill and challenge.
Noon LUNCH & REFRESH
All-you-want-to-eat lunch followed by a rest time for body and
brain before the afternoon workshops.
1:30–4:30 PM Expand Your Memory!
Back to the labs for two more 90-minute workshops.
4:45 PM Stand-By Mode!
Day campers enjoy free time in the labs, gaming with friends
or working on a project. Overnight campers head to the dorms
for some time off-line. Seniors head to the Senior Lounge.
5:30 PM Time to Re-Boot!
Typical Weekend
Saturdays
Super Saturday – Field Games, BBQ, LAN Party. Get ready for
epic battles between campers and counselors and a LAN Party
at night. Day campers invited.
Sundays
A day of rest and you will need it after Super Saturday. You
can sleep late, then have free time in the computer labs and
burn off some energy out on the field. You can also choose
free time in the dorms with your new camp friends.
Meals
Food Points Restored!
Nutritious and delicious meals are provided in the campus dining
halls. Campers enjoy an all-you-want-to-eat format to keep
the brain and body in peak shape to explore and have fun. The
choices are many—salad & pasta bars, burgers, fries, chicken,
soups & sandwiches and don’t forget desserts!
Vegetarian meals are also available and other special dietary
restrictions and needs can often be accommodated.

C# PROGRAMMING CAMP – Teens 13 – 17. Two Weeks.
Overnight & Day.
Teens learn to code using C# (see sharp)--the most popular programming language for creating Microsoft Windows applications. Designed for the .Net Platform, C# combines the power
of C++ with the programming ease of Visual Basic.
CAMPERS PROGRAM AN APPLICATION FOR WINDOWS
Campers learn the basics of programming in C# and build
their own Windows-based application. Progressive curriculum
accommodates campers with or without prior experience in a
programming language.
DAILY RECREATION & OPEN LAB TIME AT NIGHT
Emagination balances tech learning with summer camp fun!
LARPing, dodge ball, capture the flag, kickball, ultimate Frisbee.

GAME DESIGN CAMP – Teens 15 – 18. Two Weeks.
Overnight Only.
Teens experience what it’s like to work at today’s top game
design studios. There are no prerequisites. Using industry
standard software, students learn key game design skills then
choose a role on a development team. Teams build a playable
3D video game, then present their game to a panel of industry
experts for critique and awards.
GUEST SPEAKERS AND GAME STUDIO TOUR
Guest speakers share design insights and an inside look at
working in this dynamic industry. Students tour a local game
design studio and see the pros in action.
