Leadership
Day
#EHSAlumniDay
1
Welcome to
Episcopal High School’s Inaugural
Alumni Leadership Day!
We are delighted to have more than 60 alumni returning to campus to visit with the Class of 2016
about their careers and the decisions, pathways, and options that defined their choices. First, we
want to thank our alumni who are participating on 13 panels today. All of them have generously
made time for EHS and are willing and eager to impart their insight in order for our students to be
better equipped and prepared for the opportunities and challenges ahead.
In the planning process of this event, we had the privilege of speaking with a number of
alumni about their professional and personal journeys; you are in for quite a treat. Each of the
participating alumni has a story, one that involves following planned paths as well as responding
and reacting to the unexpected. Many pursued their passions and many found their interests
through a series of experiences.
As soon-to-be alumni of EHS, you are beginning the next phase of your education with a
formidable foundation rooted in the Four Pillars. In addition, you will have an inspiring network of
alumni with a vast amount of depth and breadth to call upon. Our goal for you today is not that
you walk away with the answers, but that you begin to formulate the questions about your next
steps and what is ahead of you in the years to come.
In the words of the Rt. Rev. C. Andrew Doyle, we hope that you look forward to a pursuit “of
dedicated effort, challenges conquered, and life embraced and lived in its fullest.”
Fondly,
Margaret Young
