
FRAME STRENGTH
The Hino 195 has a stronger frame than the Isuzu NRR with
a greater Resisting Bending Moment – 422,900 in.-lb. versus
316,800 in.-lb. Hino’s frame is 33% stronger than Isuzu’s.


SERVICE BRAKES
The Hino 195 is equipped with all-wheel disc brakes for
efficient heat dissipation and effective braking. Isuzu still
uses drum brakes on the rear axle.
YIELD STRENGTH
The Hino 195 has a stronger frame than the Isuzu NRR
(56,900 versus 44,000 PSI) meaning Hino’s frame is more
durable, approximately 29% greater in strength.
Hino 195
A STRONGER FRAME TRANSLATES INTO A DURABLE AND RELIABLE
TRUCK NEEDED FOR HEAVY LOADS... ADVANTAGE HINO.

ALTERNATOR
The Hino 195 offers a higher output standard 12V alternator
rated at 130 Amp output versus Isuzu’s at 110 Amp.
HINO’S HIGHER AMP ALTERNATOR, PROVIDES ADDITIONAL POWER FOR
BODY ACCESSORIES ... ADVANTAGE HINO.
Isuzu NRR
DRUM BRAKES CANNOT DISSIPATE HEAT EFFICIENTLY AND ARE PRONE TO
BRAKE FADE UNDER HEAVY BRAKING CONDITIONS. THE ALL-WHEEL DISC
BRAKES PROVIDE SAFE & RELIABLE BRAKING … ADVANTAGE HINO.
SCR SYSTEM

SCR SYSTEM LOCATION

The Hino SCR system is compact and sits below the
frame rails. The Isuzu system extends further than Hino’s
and sits flush with the frame creating more interference
along the frame rail. The position of Hino’s SCR system
provides greater body mounting flexibility.

DEF LOCATION
The location and height of the DEF tank is also an important
factor. The Hino DEF tank extends from the frame 22
inches and the Isuzu, 24 ½ inches. Hino’s DEF tank is set 8
inches lower than the top of the frame rail for easy access
to refill the tank. Isuzu’s DEF tank is set only 1 inch below
the frame thereby creating more interference for body
mounting and DEF refilling.

CAB

CAB VISIBILITY

The Hino 195 uses narrow A-pillars that are well positioned
towards the outside of the field of view. The design of the
side view mirrors helps to enhance the driver’s line of sight to
the side. Isuzu’s wider A-pillar design means less visibility.
CAB AERODYNAMICS
The Hino cab emphasizes aerodynamics and visibility with an
angled windshield, narrow A-pillars and rounded-radius curves.
The shape of the cabin has been tapered towards the front and
the corner radius is now larger to improve aerodynamics. Both
of these features help to enhance fuel efficiency, all the while
providing ample space inside the cabin.

CAB ENTRY/EXIT - STEPS
Hino 195
GREATER VISIBILITY IS A SAFETY ADVANTAGE: PROTECTING DRIVERS AND
REDUCING ACCIDENTS … ADVANTAGE HINO.

The Hino 195 has a wider 7 ½ inch step for entering the cab.
The steps were enlarged to make it easier and safer to get in
and out of the cab.
Isuzu NRR
HINO’S CAB HAS BEEN REDESIGNED TO MAKE CAB ENTRY AND EXIT VERY
EASY. LARGER STEPS AND CONVENIENT GRAB HANDLES MAKE ENTRY /
EXIT EFFORTLESS … ADVANTAGE HINO.
Isuzu NRR
CAB ENTRY/EXIT - ACCESS
Getting in and out of a Hino during a busy delivery schedule
takes minimal effort. The Hino is designed with convenient
grab handles. The Hino 195 doors open a full 80 degrees,
giving you plenty of room for smooth and easy cab
entry/exit. The Isuzu doors open 90 degrees, making it very
difficult to reach the door after getting into the cab.
DRIVER COMFORT & SAFETY
CLARION GPS AND BLUETOOTH®
 DRIVER’S SEAT - MAGNETIC SUSPENSION SEAT WITH ARMREST

The Hino 195 features a standard driver’s magnetic suspension
seat with armrest. Using reverse polarity magnets, the adjustable
driver’s seat suspension system provides superb comfort. The
high back seat is adjustable for rake and recline. Isuzu does not
offer a suspension seat .
The Hino 195 features a standard AM/FM DVD with GPS
Navigation System and Bluetooth®. This tool is very useful to
determine trip distance and distance to destination. With
Bluetooth® technology the driver can simply focus on the road.
Isuzu does not offer this technology as standard equipment.
Hino 195
HINO DESIGNED THE INTERIOR CAB WITH THE DRIVER’S COMFORT IN MIND.
A COMFORTABLE CAB KEEPS DRIVERS ALERT AND FOCUSED ON THEIR DAILY
TASKS. THE CAB IS DESIGNED TO ACCOMMODATE DRIVERS UP TO 6’6” TALL
… ADVANTAGE HINO.

STORAGE SPACE
Hino 195

AIR CONDITIONING
The Hino 195 has two large overhead storage compartments in
the cab. It also offers an additional storage compartment in
front of the passenger side seat. Hino drivers will appreciate the
abundance of storage pockets.
To help reduce driver fatigue, air conditioning is standard
on Hino 195. This feature is optional for Isuzu.
Isuzu offers overhead storage compartments and only a small
glove compartment.
The Hino 195 is equipped with keyless entry as a standard
feature. With a simple touch of a button the driver’s door
can be unlocked. Isuzu does not offer keyless entry.
