Changes in 2009
Hello to our Willow Oaks families!
I know that everyone is looking forward to spring
and the changes it brings- the warmer weather, the
pending pool season, and all the activities. The
staff at Willow Oaks is working to bring our young members some exciting changes as well. We hope that you enjoy the improvements and welcome your feedback.
The Club will now publish two youth newsletters per year: one will be a
spring and summer guide and the other will be for fall and winter activities. You will also notice that there is a new youth newsletter format that
has changes to the layout and content. Some of these changes include:
• Youth friendly color format and design,
• Advanced athletic programs and clinics added for golf and tennis,
• “Kick Off to Golf” day to encourage more participation in youth
golf,
• Breakdown of activities by grade to help parents with enrollment,
• Increased focus on outdoor and adventure activities, and
• More details regarding each specific event
I am, also, pleased to announce that joining the staff this year will be a
seasonal Youth Coordinator. It is my hope that we will continue to make
improvements to our family programs here at Willow Oaks. By the way,
don’t forget to participate in the contest to name the youth newsletter!
Details are on the next page.
See you at the Club,
Chris Welles
