St Patrick's Day Poem
The Leprechauns are marching
My friends all stared and pointed.
The Leprechauns are marching,
There was mischief in their eyes.
They're marching down the hall,
A kid who sat in front of me
They're marching on the ceiling,
reached out and pinched my knee.
They're marching on the wall.
My friends all started laughing,
They're marching two by two,
but the joke was lost on me.
And now it's four by four,
And then I got my second pinch.
You say you still can't see them?
I felt it on my ear.
Move back! Here come some more!
And then I felt a third and fourth.
The leprechauns are marching,
You guessed it--on my rear.

here are just a few ideas to get your green juices flowing. If you already have science staples like Insta-Snow powder, True Colors tablets, UV Beads or just some
green food coloring, you're well on your way to creating a very cool Irish science
experience. Leprechauns Strike - Green Water - It's not uncommon for those little
Leprechauns to turn everything green... even the water coming out of your faucet. Here's how it works. Green Flowers - It's as simple as adding a little green
food coloring to the water, but the effect it has on a white carnation is very cool.
Children will be able to see how the water is absorbed into the plant as the petals of the carnation change color. Green Instant Snow - Since everything else is
green on St. Patrick's Day, why shouldn't the snow be green, too? You'll need
some Instant Snow powder, a few plastic cups, green food coloring and a stirring
stick. Place 20-30 drops of green food coloring in an empty cup and add about a
tablespoon (about 10 grams) of dry Insta-Snow powder to the cup. Use a stirring
stick to mix the powder. The polymer will absorb the green food coloring, but it
won't fluff up. Add a few more tablespoons of the dry, white Insta-Snow powder to
the green powder and continue to mix. Keep mixing in the dry Insta-Snow until
you get the green colour you want. When you're ready to make green snow, place
one teaspoon of dry, green Insta-Snow into a clean cup and add about 2 ounces
(60 mL) of water. The erupting green snow will be a huge hit! Leprechaun Traps This is just one example of a simple Leprechaun trap that might spark a new
idea. Blarney Beads- At the end of every rainbow is a pot of gold, right? How
about a bag of white beads that change to green in the sunlight? If you have the
luck of the Irish on St. Patrick's Day, the Leprechauns may leave some Blarney
Beads for extra good luck. String the beads on a pipe cleaner and make a Blarney Bead Bracelet.
The beads are Color Changing UV beads (also known as Energy Beads). While
you're indoors, the beads remain white, but when you step outside into the sunlight, the beads change color. The beads contain a special UV sensitive pigment
that changes color when it's exposed to sunlight. The beads will change back to
their original white color when you come back indoors. Given your creativity,
you'll be able to weave the magic tale.
St Patrick traditions
St. Patrick's day is celebrated all over the world. There is
always huge parade's and music and a wide range of entertainment. Everybody dresses up in the colour green
and would wear funny costumes and face paint. St. Patrick's day was first celebrated in the U.S.A in Boston
around 1762. It's not really surprising that it started in
America, because there are American people in America, who originated from Ireland. St. Patrick's day is wonderful day for families to get together and enjoy loads of
good entertainment. And that’s why this edition of the
gazette is celebrating St. Patrick's because everybody is
'Irish On St. Patrick's Day'! Oh, and Happy St. Patrick's
Day.
BMW M4
WHAT IT IS: The high-performance version of the BMW 4-series and successor to the M3
coupe and cabriolet. Like the M3s before it, the M4 is designed for serious track- thrashing,
yet it offers the comfort and amenities of a premium coupe. WHY IT MATTERS: Stepping
into the Sasquatch-sized shoes of the M3 coupe, the M4 needs to repair the M division's
heavily dinged reputation. PLATFORM: Based on the F30 platform, which underpins the 3and forthcoming 4-series, it incorporates aluminium and carbon fibre to reduce weight. The
chassis will be tuned for performance and the body will be reshaped to drive home the
point. POWERTRAIN: A twin-turbocharged, 3.0-liter inline-six with around 420 horsepower. BMW will offer both a six-speed manual and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
COMPETITION: Audi RS5, Cadillac ATS-V, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG. WHAT MIGHT
GO WRONG: The same guys who tuned the M5 to be a soggy, sorry excuse for an M car
may still be on the payroll. Going back to a straight-six is a great move, and the styling of
the M4 seems sure to please BMW aficionados. The four-door will continue to be called the
M3, so no charging the barricades, please. ESTIMATED ARRIVAL AND PRICE: The M4
will arrive in 2014, with a price starting around $60,000.

How to play spike ball
Spike ball is a game that is similar to volley ball. Spike ball has different rules. In spike ball you are aloud to pick up the ball and throw it.
There are different moves in spike ball. There is the dig, where you put
your two hands together and you bend down and hit the ball. There is a
volley, where you jump in the air and hit the ball with the tips of your
fingers. Then there is a throw, where you go behind the green line and
you bend down and put the ball between your legs and throw, but you
have to be a server to throw the ball. You have to have five people on
your team. The person at the top right corner is the server. After the
server served three times you all rotate clockwise. The first team to
score in seven minutes wins.

Mine Craft Minecraft is a sandbox indie game originally created by Swedish programmer Markus "Notch" Person and later developed and published by Mojang. It was publicly released for the PC on May 17, 2009, as a developmental alpha version and, after

achievement system. The gameplay by default is first person, but players have the option to play in third person mode. The core gameplay revolves around breaking and
placing blocks. The game world is essentially composed of rough 3D objects—mainly
cubes—that are arranged in a fixed grid pattern and represent different materials, such
as dirt, stone, various ores, water, and tree trunks. While players can move freely across
the world, objects and items can only be placed at fixed locations relative to the grid.
Players can gather these material blocks and place them elsewhere, thus allowing for

Call of Duty: Ghosts features a completely new setting, characters, and system,
though it is in the same universe. It still features linear sections, but it is said to have
"easter eggs" within the game to alter missions slightly. The setting of the game is a
war-torn U.S.A. ten years after an ODIN Strike , launched via satellite after a hijacking, devastated the landscape and invasion from the Federation, a conglomeration of
several South American countries. The single player features a dog companion
named Riley, fighting in outer space, a story featuring a team of "Ghosts
," who are remnants of elite U.S. Special Forces teams, and various other features.
Setting and Characters
The game's main protagonists are the Ghosts, a force of U.S. Special Operations personnel trained to conduct clandestine missions behind enemy lines. The unit is led
by retired U.S. Army Captain Elias Walker. He is joined by his sons Logan and David "Hesh" Walker, along with Booth and Neptune, a trained German Shepherd

Plot Synopsis
The game begins with Elias telling his sons about the legend of how the

and use it to destroy several cities in the southwestern United States. Ten
years later, the United States has fought the Federation to a stalemate along

they spot an American is working with the Federation who is called Gabriel T. Rorke.
Soon after, the brothers are ambushed and rescued by members of the Ghosts who are
seeking their companion Ajax, who was captured by Rorke. Logan and Hesh join the mission to rescue Ajax but arrive too late to rescue him and after he is killed by Federation
soldier, they reunite with their father who reveals himself as the leader of Ghosts.
Believing his sons are ready to join his unit, Elias welcomes them into the Ghosts and they
learn from him that Rorke once were their leader. The Ghosts manage to locate and capture Rorke, but while flying back home, Rorke's men attack their plane and rescue him.
The team then is forced to land deep into the Amazon Jungle where they witness a rocket
being launched with an unknown purpose. Once reunited and rescued, the Ghosts storm a
Federation laboratory in the Andes and obtain data regarding a classified operation in a
factory at Rio De Janeiro. Elias and his sons regroup in Las Vegas but are captured by
Rorke who kills Elias in front of Hesh and Logan who later find an opportunity to escape.
Realizing that once the Federation's LOKI become operational they will be defeated for
good, the United States pool all their remaining forces in a
synchronized attack to take down an enemy space center in Chile while a small team of
soldiers boards a shuttle to take over the Federation satellites in space. Once both objectives are completed, Hesh and Logan pursue Rorke to avenge their father and are seemingly successful, only to find out during the aftermath that Rorke survived their battle.

Gameplay:
Tropical freeze is a very challenging game and is not for the faint
hearted. From its mine cart stages to its rocket barrel stages. This
game should be played by hard-core gamers.
Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is an incredible game and you

Oldest person living turns 116
On the 5th of March 2014 Misao Okawa celebrated her 116th birthday,
Almost a year after the oldest person on earth Jiroemon Kimura passed
away at the age of 116 and 54 days old on the 12th of June 2013.
Misao's secret for long life is enough food and sleep. Misao sleeps
at least eight hours of sleep a night. Her favourite food are sushi and
mackerel on vinegar steamed rice. She eats it at least one every month.
Misao lived in a retirement home for 18 years. She also thinks it is
important to relax and take care of your body. Misao suffered a fall at
the age 102 and broke her leg. She is also fit and healthy. Misao also
lived through a lot of history like World War I and II,the invention of tv,
computers, first mission to space, first person on the moon and the discovery of peniciloin. Her best memories are when she got married in 1919
and gave birth to her 3 children. Two are still alive aged 92 and 94
and the other died. Scientists say that people that live longer
are more likely to be Japanese people because of their healthcare
system, knitting clubs and diets of fish, rice, fruits and vegetables.
She had a cake but only had three candles. One for each
century she lived through. She also said that too many candles
can be dangerous.

How to make a stop motion
Stop Motion Animation is the art where you create a scene, take a still picture, move the scene again,
take another picture and continue the process. When you have taken all the pictures, you speed them and
it will look like they are moving on their own.
Stop motion is simple and difficult to make. Easy because it is simple to understand and Hard because
you need to make sure that you haven't made the person move too little or too much.
Stop motion is hard to master and only practice will make you better. Try to experiment and use different
camera angle. Try to
not use only Lego, or only clay. Try to get used to using different materials.
Method:
* Create a scene made out of a material of your choice such as Lego or clay.
* Get a good quality camera and place it on a tri-pod (a tri-pod is a special stand for cameras)
* Take a still picture.
* Move the scene just a little bit.
* Take another still picture.
* Continue the process.
Technical Stuff
Once you have taken all of your pictures connect your camera to a computer. To do the next step you
need to download some software. Windows Movie Maker is a good program to use. Go to download it
for free. Once you have installed it, enter it.
Once you have entered it do the following
* Click "import pictures"
* Select the pictures you want
* Click open
* Select them again and drag them into the boxes at the bottom
* Click on the microphone icon if you want speech in your stop motion
* Click begin and start talking
How to make a stop motion
* Click stop when you have finished
* Once that is done click "save to my computer"
* Give a name to your stop motion
* click next, then next again and then you just have to wait for it to save.
Tips and Tricks
* Try to create your scene in a dark room and use lamps to get a better view of your scene
* If you use fluorescent lighting let the bulbs burn for 10 minutes first to get the best amount of light
* If you are using clay and have large figurines then use any type of wire and bend it so it can be used as
the frame of your character. Then build the clay around the person
* If you can't make a scene by taking pictures because it will be blurred, then make a video for it instead.
Just place it where it's supposed to go afterwards.
* Use blue-tack when you need to. Use it when you want your character to stick to a wall or when he is
climbing up a building
* Don't make your stop motion on a surface that moves, such as your bed or else your animation will be
very jittery.

Dear Upset and Confused, This is a very common problem. The same thing happened to me once. I think that if
you try and talk to the boy, he might explain why this is happening. I'm sure that the boy doesn't hate you or anything, but maybe he is just embarrassed. Maybe it turns out that he just wants to be friends, and I think that
would be good. Please don't feel sad about this, I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation.
How to make melted crayon art
What You Need:
* Hair Dryer
* Crayons
Super Glue [Hot glue gun]
* Canvas [choice of sizes]
* Cardboard
Newspaper [old] or you can use a old T-Shirt or Blanket
Method:
Sort out the crayons by colors.
Use your super glue to glue your colors to the top of the canvas.
Stand your canvas up against the wall, make sure its slanted. Make sure there is something covering the wall and
underneath the canvas.
Use a hair dryer to melt the crayons down the canvas. Make sure its on the hottest setting.

One day in Portlaoise there was a lonely girl named Amanda and a boy named Tomi.Amanda really liked him
but the boy had a girlfriend already and she loved him so much, but the boy did not know that she liked him ,
when ever she saw him she liked him more and more until he broke up with his girlfriend and she hated him because he had changed. He was not coming out or even playing with his friend's at all, after a while Tomi started
like her, but she didn't like him at all, but one day she moved to a different country and all the 4 months she Realized that she misses something or someone she did not know that is wrong with her, she looked at her old picture's and she saw a boy and she thought of him and she started to cry and she was destroyed she really missed
him but she knew that her parents would never go back to Portlaoise . Until Amanda went shopping one day and
she saw a boy and she asked him "sir where can you buy clothes"? He said wait I'll call my substitute and that
time she knew it was Tomi because he had big brown eyes.she did not want he parents to see her with him so
she said" I cant its too late and he said "its never too late" She ran home her mother asked her "what's wrong" she
replied "nothing mom I just went shopping and saw my old friend" her mother said "what friend" But Amanda did
not replied to her she just started laughing and smiled. Every night at 4 p.m she went to the same shop to see
Tomi but one day Tomi wasn't there so she

But Tomi went away and Amanda never saw him for 3 years, Tomi knew that Amanda loves him but he did not
want to like her because her mother, wont let her go out, one day Amanda and her mother were very Poor at that
time so she and mother decided to get married to a boy who is very rich and he is 19 years old she did not want
to married him because she did not what to marry him because she only liked Tomi. her mother thought she forgot him because it was already 3 years ago. when her mother got very sick and she needed money Amanda had
to marry the boy who she didn't even know his name was Daniel he was 19 years old he was very rich It was
Tomi's brother Daniel did not know that Tomi loved Amanda, but Amanda didn't know that Daniel is Tomis brother.
Suddenly Tomi came for Daniel because Daniel promised that he will bring Tomi to his new house.
until Amanda came in his house and she saw Daniel and she said " what is he doing here" Tomi said do you know
this boy?!.... Daniel said to Tomi this is my girlfriend.Tomi said no she is mine and they started to fight and then
Amanda said you can pick Tomi or me Amanda said" TOMI TOMI!!!!!!!Daniel said well Ok then I don’t care! he
was going fast with the car and he crashed in a tree they did not know where is Daniel for a week until Tomi went
past the rod and saw him he screamed and called Amanda and she ran but ! after a 3 weeks he was died! but
Amanda when she was 20 she got pregnant with Tomi they !
it was a boy his name was Alexander he was 1year when they moved to a place called Geogarden
And they lived until they died :)
Our geeky class
Mr O Lionairds’ in 6th Class are very technical
friendly. We go to the computer room every day
and we all know the ins and outs of a computer.
We would say we are the geekiest class in Scoil
Bhride because of our great efforts creating our
mini-companies such as the gazette. “Cloud computing” is a thing we use on a daily basis. For those
who don’t know what cloud computing is... It is
when we store all our work; in the cloud. We get our
homework, school work and even pictures down
from the cloud. This is an easy, free way to store our
files, securely of course. This is also the best way to
store our files as using SD cards or USB sticks can
be tricky. We use a free website called OneDrive.
We are also familiar with Smartphones and Tablets
too as all of us use this type of technology.
P.S We are preparing to create a radio station. I will
say no more.
Review: Rayman Legends
Rayman Legends is an incredible but very challenging game
for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U
Plot
Rayman and his friends have been sleeping for a century and
they are once again called to save the world from nightmares.
Gameplay
Rayman legends is a very challenging but fun game that
would challenge even the most hard-core of gamers.
Exclusive to the Wii U is that Murphy is a playable character.
On all the other consoles murphy is controlled by the computer. This feature means to go down for some really great multiplayer sessions. Also there are murphy levels in which the first
player controls murphy and the computer controls Rayman.
This can get very frustrating because the computer is so
dumb. It also makes for a great multiplayer session
Conclusion
Rayman Legends is an incredibly difficult game but is so much
fun. I give Rayman Legends an
9.5/10

Nasa is currently planning a unmanned mission to a moon orbiting Jupiter! Yes, if your wondering that you have read that wrong, well you
didn’t. Nasa is planning to send a robot to a moon orbiting Jupiter. The
moon is said to be called Europa. Europa is slightly smaller than the
Earths moon, but its said to be covered in a huge ocean of water, but
most of it is frozen.
The launch is expected to be in about ten years. Even though it’s a
while away, Nasa has US $15million to plan the exploration. Jupiter is
the largest planet in our Solar System and is fifth from the sun.
