NOTFIY

NOTFIY November saw the release of the new album “NOTIFY” from Pádraig Rynne. A former member of groundbreaking bands such as Guidewires, Dán and Cian its no surprise that this new album has yet again broken the boundaries of creativity with Irish music. Over the years Pádraig has come up through the ranks from being a 5 time all Ireland winner by the age of 17 to touring and recording with some of the biggest names in a range of different Genres of music. Well known for his experimantal approach to music, Pádraig is credited by many with being one of the leading figures in Irish music at the moment. Pádraig has also played with well known outfits such as Flook, Altan, Liam O Maonlai, Triona Ni Dhomhnaill and many more. Nowadays his full time band is a trio consisting of former Gudiewires partner Sylvain Barou and world famous Dónal Lunny. There 2013 release “TRIAD” is one of the most popular albums in recent years. Pádraig has put an allstar lineup together to create the band “NOTIFY”. On acoustic and electric guitars is the formidable Tyler Duncan from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Tyler is well known for his extreme angled approach towards music having worked with many big pop names in recent years such as Glee’s Darren Criss and USA chart topper Michelle Chamuel. Joe Dart is a bass player that is known to many for his work in pop band Ella Riot as well as his funk/pop band Vulfpeck. He has recen tly guested on albums such as The Olllam which fulltime members are Tyler Dunacan and Mike Shimmin as well as live appearances with the well known Irish band Guidewires. On drums is one of the most sought after musicians in the United States. Mike Shimmin has recorded and played with world music bands Guidewires and Millish, most recently toured with the Motown queen Aretha Franklin.
