The Crystal Gala Foundation is made up of a dynamic group of women from all walks of life. Over
the past nine years, our committee of volunteers have met around a kitchen table but always achieved
boardroom results. Our team, along with our partners, have raised over $1,000,000 dollars for breast
cancer. The group meets monthly to collaborate on ideas for fundraising, theme, décor, sponsorship and
entertainment. The Foundation warmly welcomes you to the 2010 Crystal Gala.

The will to make a difference…
Twelve years later the “will” of The Crystal Gala Committee is still going strong and our dedicated team of
women continue to work hard. This year, we reaffirmed our commitment to the fight against breast cancer
with another $500,000 pledge to the Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre. Given the economic
climate, we are very grateful for the amazing support that we receive from the business community and the
many contributors that have been so loyal to The Gala over the years. It is because of your support that many
families faced with breast cancer are enjoying a full and happy life.
We have so much to be thankful for - our families, our friends, our health and our vitality. We see the
opportunity to contribute to the health and well-being of someone else’s loved one as a reward that each
one of us can take pride in. To know that, collectively, we are all making a difference is a legacy that this
community should be extremely proud of.
Our 12th anniversary will see us party Saffron style - which means Spice of Life! With hard work and
determination, we know that this evening will once again bring us one step closer to the ultimate reward –
an end to breast cancer. We thank you for you for becoming part of our…”will to make a difference!” Your
generosity will help us continue the fight against breast cancer and we will ensure that your dollars make a

The Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre is a worldclass medical facility serving residents of Abbotsford as well as
other communities in the eastern Fraser Valley.
In 2007, the Crystal Gala Foundation pledged a lead gift of
$500,000 to A Campaign for Health Care Excellence to ensure
that hospital patients receive the best possible treatment and care.
With the generous support of our sponsors, donors and guests,
the Foundation fulfilled its pledge and has now doubled its commitment for a total pledge of $1 Million.
The funds raised support the Crystal Gala Breast Health Unit in the
hospital, where digital mammography and enhanced programs
and resources ultimately provide shortened exam and diagnosis
time frames leading to improved patient care

Legacy Sponsor Opportunities
If you are interested in partnering with us on our journey to raise another half a million dollars for
The Crystal Gala Breast Health Unit of the Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre, we
encourage you to consider becoming a legacy sponsor or donor. Legacy sponsors consent to a three year
commitment, paid annually, and sponsors will be acknowledged at every level from Bronze to Presenting
sponsorship for their three year contribution. 100% of all of our cash sponsorship funding goes directly
to our new hospital.

Crystal Gala Partnership Levels
Presenting Sponsor: $25,000
• The sponsor will present the 2010 Crystal Gala, and will be included along with the event title
at every opportunity.
• Involvement in the gala reception.
• Use of the Crystal Gala name and logo to promote your presenting partnership status.
• Opportunity to commit to a three-year exclusive presenting sponsorship.
• Company name and logo used on all printed materials – programs, auction catalogues, tickets etc.
• Company name and logo to be used in advertising leading up to and post event.
• Your company name will be included in a list of sponsors categorized directory style, including
business name and phone numbers in the program.
• A full page, full colour ad in the program.
• Corporate logo or name included with the take-home gift given to each attendee.
• Four complimentary tickets to the Crystal Gala evening.
• Priority seating for one table at the event.
