Over the coming months, there will be plenty of opportunities for you to attend free meetings to hear interesting speakers present on a variety of occupational safety and health topics. Unless otherwise stated, Branch meetings take place at Hollyfields Centre Club Ltd, Woodacre Road, Erdington, Birmingham, B24 0JT. Our volunteers are always happy to help with any queries and support you with your Initial Professional Development, Continuing Professional Development and Skills Development Portfolio, as you progress through the IOSH membership grades, maintain your competency, and make use of the new self assessment tool. For more information please email: [email protected] Attendance at meetings gives you valuable opportunities to network and share experiences with other members. Meetings are also open to nonmembers, many of whom later join IOSH. Please keep an eye out for the regular IOSH committee mailers for any changes or additions to the programme, including any extra chargeable events. In 2016, we bid farewell to the Midland Branch’s North, South and East Districts, as IOSH now believes they have developed to the point where they deserve to be branches in their own right. We wish them well for the future. As a member of the Midland Branch and its former Districts, you’re entitled to attend any free meetings across the IOSH network, no matter where you’re based. So please use every opportunity to support the network and add to your CPD. If you’re visiting us for the first time, come and say hello to a committee member, who will make you feel at home. We look forward to seeing you this year.
