Energy Savanna Transmission Project near Cromwell
continues as crews string
wire conductors.
According to Lori Buffington, Great River Energy’s
Corporate Communications, the 14-mile stretch
from Cromwell to Gowan
will be completed in the fall.
“Tree removal is currently
underway for the nine-mile
stretch from Gowan to
the Savanna Substation,”
she said. “A smaller stretch
south of Cromwell will take
place in November.”
