Legend: Waterborne Micaceous Iron Oxide Multi-tint AIR Spray Airless Spray spatula Brush Protecting Your Investments HEMPEL’S MULTI-TINT® System Hempel was founded in Denmark in 1915 by J. C. Hempel, who introduced the concept of ready-made marine paints. Over the years we have expanded our original product portfolio and services into many other coatings and markets. The company has grown to become the largest independent supplier of coatings for the protective, marine, container, yacht and decorative market segments. HEMPEL’S MULTI-TINT® System is a volumetric tinting system developed by Hempel in 1993 as a tool for meeting customers’ demands for special colours from international colour standards, such as RAL, British Standard 381C and BS-4800, NCS, Munsell plus other international and customer colours. Drawing on decades of experience from the marine market segment, Hempel’s range of protective coatings has been developed to provide our customers with a total system for the protection of steel and concrete structures such as bridges, civil constructions, airports, cranes, downstream and upstream facilities, pipelines, chemical and power plants, onshore and offshore wind farms, railway carriages, mining plants and many other facilities. Hempel produces a wide range of solvent-borne, solvent-free and waterborne coatings, intumescent coatings for passive fire protection as well as specialised paints for specific conditions. Our coatings deliver proven, long-term effectiveness, protecting components in even the most challenging environments. To find out more visit us at www.hempel.co.uk. HEMPEL’S MULTI-TINT® Solvent-borne System includes a set of 14 tinting pastes, enabling Hempel to make lead and lead-free colours and comprises of some 3,500 different colour recipes from international colour standards. HEMPEL’S MULTI-TINT® Waterborne System includes a set of 12 tinting pastes, all of them lead-free and comprises of some 950 different colour recipes from international colour standards. For further information please contact your local Hempel office. Numerous testing and research institutions have given their approval to Hempel’s paints. The products are certified for various operating conditions and meet today’s regulatory requirements.
