and book library, and board
games, there is the comfortable
indoor dining area fully air

Furnishings throughout the
boat are custom-made of teak,
rattan and other locally-sourced
materials. A soothing colour
palette of white, honey and beige
with antique brass fixtures in each
room provides a tranquil setting
in which to relax and retire. Each
cabin has vaulted ceilings over
two metres high.
Diving Deck
The Samata has a special aft
diving deck area fitted out with
state-of-the-art compressor and
room for up to 20 tanks.
Also this area also stores all the
water sports equipment including
snorkelling gear, diving gear,
wake boards, sea kayaks and
fishing equipment.

Moyo Island
In the centre of the Indonesian archipelago
between the islands of Sumbawa and Flores lies
the World Heritage Site of Komodo National Park.
These islands are blessed with secluded beaches,
crystal clear waters, and stunning coral reefs as
well as being the only place in the world where
the legendary Komodo Dragon may be viewed
in the wild.
Nestled in the tranquil Banda Sea, lies an
enchanting fragment of history, the Spice Islands.
Whilst the islands of North Maluku made their
empires trading their cloves, Banda was the
world’s only source of nutmeg.
Moyo Island at the mouth of Saleh Bay, is about
3 kilometres off the north coast of Sumbawa
Island and covers approximately 350 km2. With
relatively few in habitants on the island two
thirds of Moyo is a nature reserve called Moyo
Island Hunting Park. The central plateau with
its grassy savannah and sparse forested area is
home to a large variety of fauna. The coastline has
some beautiful white beaches of fine coral sand
creating the post card perfect image.
The park offers stunning white beaches and
calm bays perfect for snorkelling, diving, wake
boarding and other water sports. These secluded
areas are ideal for relaxing during the day and
beach BBQ’s under star filled skies at night.

Raja Ampat
Raja Ampat locally known as “Four Kings” which
refers to the four main islands of Waigeo, Misool,
Salawati, and Batanta. Located in the heart of
the Coral Triangle, with one of the richest marine
environments in the world, the 600 islands cover
an area of approximately 50,000 sq km. The
underwater seascape boasts more than 1300
species of fish and approximately 70% of the
world’s known coral species. The limestone cliffs
with hidden bays and beautiful beaches offer
superb diving and snorkelling, while the majestic
above water scenery is often described as a
dream come true.
Best months: October through March

Visit the world’s oldest nutmeg gardens, and view
private colonial mansions, savour the remnants
of Banda’s once glorious past soothed by the
trade winds and the idyllic charms of these now
forgotten islands. Snorkel or dive the brilliant
underwater gardens of the lava flows and bask on
the remotest beaches in the world.

Bali & Lombok
Bali lies in the middle pearl in the necklace of
the Indonesian ring of fire, geographically small
but culturally immense, Bali has fascinated and
influenced visitors from the outside world for
centuries. Combining elements of Hinduism and
Buddhism with earlier animist beliefs, Balinese
religion pervades all aspects of everyday life.
It has some wonderful golf courses, brilliant
night life, beautiful paddy fields surrounded by
volcanoes and some special diving sites too.
Located just east of Bali, Lombok in many ways
lives up to or exceeds the promotional term,
“an unspoiled Bali”. With beautiful beaches,
enchanting waterfalls, the large volcano of
Mount Rinjani combined with relatively few
tourists, Lombok is indeed a tropical paradise.

Satonda Island
Satonda is a small uninhabited volcanic Island
off the northern coast of Sumbawa .The centre
of the island holds a mysterious salt water lake
with clear water that ranges from 15 to about
70 meters in depth. Around the lake, locals hang
rocks from the trees in hopes of having their
dreams come true.

Nusa Tenggara
Nusa Tenggara covers over 1300 square
kilometres with more than 500 islands sitting
a few degrees south of the equator. The large
volcanic islands of the north are Lombok,
Sumbawa, Flores and the Alor Archipelago. In the
south the big islands of raised coral limestone
and sediment are Sumba, Savu, Roti and West
Timor. With hundreds of other small islands that
are rarely seen on maps.
