Lunch - Cracker Barrel in Troutsville, VA*
Dinner - Knoxville, TN*
Step back in time and join us as we walk the steps of George
Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison. We will
discover Colonial Williamsburg and become citizens of this Revolutionary City during our Fall 2016 Oasis Retreat. You will have the
opportunity to explore, as well as meet townspeople, trades
people, shopkeepers, political figures, and the enslaved that
called this city home as they made the decision to remain loyal to
the British king or to fight for independence.
We will be staying in 2-Bedroom Villas at Marriott’s Manor Club
at Ford’s Colony (four individuals per villa). Each villa will have a
living/dining area, small kitchen, as well as a washer/dryer. There
are two-bathrooms and each bedroom will be able to close their
door for privacy. The Manor Club is in a central location only 10
minutes away from both Colonial Williamsburg and Historic
Jamestown. Across the road is situated the Ford’s Colony Country
Club. This building is a small walk from where we will be staying.
Most meals will be provided at this location and our group sessions which will follow the life of Joseph will be held here as well.
