Recap of June Bike Ride
How many Skunks does it take to navigate
around the Botanic Garden?
Answer: Three—one to hold the map upside
down, one to pull out a compass, and one to
provide emotional support. (Seriously, the map
is PRINTED upside down.)
The forecast T-storms never materialized, and
the day gradually blossomed into a picture
postcard summer afternoon. Highlight of the day
was a special exhibit housing hundreds of exotic
butterflies in a tent filled with user friendly
flowering plants.
For future reference, the total mileage including
the loop at the north end was 19.2
