Paul D. Theroux, Pastor Holy Apostles Parish Cordially invites you to attend the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the Foundation of Holy Apostles Parish Mass of Thanksgiving Sunday, July 24, 2016 11:00 AM A reception will follow in the Community Life Center Gymnasium Thirteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time ~ June 26, 2016 STEWARDSHIP Last weekend we celebrated our first Healing Mass and offered the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick to those who wished to receive it. I was very happy with the attendance and I was pleased that about 45 men and women were anointed. Many of our choir members helped to make it a beautiful celebration. We will certainly plan to offer the Healing Mass at least annually for our parish community. Beginning on Monday, we will have a full week of Confirmation Classes. Because of the number of students, we offer double sessions: mornings from 9:00 AM to Noon and afternoons from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM with students rotating to three class periods. Our teaching staff is comprised of professional teachers with wide experience working with teens. Please keep all involved in your prayers. Also, our Teen Missionaries and adult leaders left for Jamaica early Saturday morning. You can follow them on their blog at holyapostles.com and please keep them in your prayers as they minister to the orphans at Blessed Assurance, Jamaica. Msgr. Theroux “Thought of the Week” In today’s second reading, St. Paul provides a wonderful one-sentence summary of Christian stewardship: “Out of love, place yourselves at one another’s service.” Time and Talent - We wish to thank all those parishioners who are always so willing to pitch in and lend a helping hand. Their participation contributes to the vibrancy of our community. Treasure – Thank you for your financial support. ONLINE GIVING This secure program works directly with your bank or credit card.
