Nature at the School The following pictures are close up photos of nature on school grounds. There are images of plants, trees, and insects from around the school. The edited photos are on the left and the original are on the right. By: Isaai Urbina Interpretation and Justification of Theme The theme for this assignment was macro photography. Macro photography is a broad topic so I narrowed it down to nature. It turns out “macro photography is one of the most popular forms of photography”(Photography Life) People take “macro shots of leaves, flowers, and sluggish insects.”(Photography Life) There are “hidden treasures among flowers and leaves”(Photography Life) that are waiting to be discovered outdoors. This is the way I saw the theme. 50 Shades of Jump Steps Taken to Edit Photo ● I used the photo editing app called Phoenix and imported the photo to edit. I went to the section called photo filters and selected mono black and white. I then went to sharpness and moved it up to 100%. After that I went to vignette and set the adjustable sliding buttons between 40% and 60% I took this photo because the grasshopper was on the ground and it didn't jump when I got close to it. Flower power Steps Taken to Edit Photo ● I used the photo editing app Phoenix and imported my photo. I went to photo filter and applied the winter forest filter. I then enhanced the photo. I chose to take this photo because this was one of the few flowers still left in the fall that were not wilting or brown.
