DEMOUNTING...
Demounting the upper bead
Demounting the lower bead
Mounting the upper bead
• Move the mounting head to the rear before
demounting the lower bead
• Position the tyre so that the valve is in 5
o’clock position
• Position the bead breaker disc so that it will
properly support the mounting procedure
• Press down on the tyre using the plastic
bead breaker disc until there is sufficient
space between tyre and rim. Carefully
lubricate the bead
• Lubricate the tyre lever
• Use the tapered roller to lever the lower bead
over the rim and demount the lower bead
MOUNTING...
• Fit the plastic tyre protector on the rim
flange at the point of traction
Clamping the rim
• Clamp the rim, use jaws with plastic
protectors for alloy rims
• Position the mounting head and return to
home position
• Clamp the triangular bead pusher on the
plastic tyre protector.
• Fit the tyre protector on the rim flange at
the level of the mounting head. Add the
Smart Bead Spacer Tail on tyres with hard
sidewalls. The valve should be approx.
10 cm right of the mounting head
• Adjust the mounting head in working
position
• Insert the tyre lever into the drop centre
of the rim between bead and rim flange
where the tyre protector is fitted
• On tyres with hard sidewalls also add the
Smart Bead Spacer Tail, making sure not to
compress the belt edge. Support the bead
pusher with the hand.
• Lubricate tyre sidewalls and bead (also
inside) with proper lubricant, but do not
lubricate the valve
Mounting the lower bead
• Continue mounting and gradually release the
pressure exerted by the bead pusher in order
to relieve the bead as much as possible
• Slowly complete the mounting procedure so
that bead and rim are protected
• Place the tyre on the rim, paying attention
to the direction of rotation of the tyre
• Use the tyre lever to lever the bead over
the mounting head, using the bead pusher
to push the bead into the drop centre in
3/6/9 o’clock positions
• Completely demount the upper bead
• Remove all tools and inflate the tyre
• Make sure the valve is opposite the
mounting head
• Mount the lower bead using the mounting
head

The monty 3300 racing plus, with the pneumatic
mounting tool Easymont PRO and “plus” kit, has
been certified by wdk for gentle and user-friendly
mounting and demounting of UHP and run-flat tyres
