Artesia Parks and Recreation Park Bench News Holiday Programs Tree Lighting Ceremony The Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held at Artesia Park on Thursday, December 4 th from 5:30 - 8:30pm. Following the lighting of the Tree, youth choir and dance groups will perform the Winter Wonderland Recital. Santa Letter Program Santa’s mailbox will be outside the Parks & Recreation Offices at Artesia Park & AJ Padelford Park from Dec 1-19. Children may drop off letters at either location. Please include a return address on each letter and Santa will write back to everyone before Christmas Day. The service area includes the Artesia City limits plus the areas Bounded by: Alondra Blvd. (north), Del Amo Blvd. (south), Valley View Rd. (east) & Bellflower Blvd. (west). Extended service is available on Tuesday’s & Thursday’s from 9:00am-4:00pm. For location information please contact the Artesia Park office. Appointments for service require 24 hour advance notice.
