NORTH OF ENGLAND RESERVES UP
MUTUAL marine liability insurer North of England P&I club says it has has emerged both bigger and stronger from this
year’s annual renewal, with free reserves up from US$190 million to US$220m, despite a technical underwriting loss of
US$10m, and total entered tonnage rising to 90m gt.
The combined accounts show a 15.7% increase in free reserves at 20 February 2008, with investment income and
exchange gains of US$40m offsetting the underwriting loss. Net assets increased US$45 million to US$679 million.
Joint deputy managing director Alan Wilson says: “The year was again dominated by an increased level of claims
leading to a net underwriting loss. Nevertheless, and helped in part by reducing our equity exposure from 38% to 17%
last autumn, we were also able to achieve a respectable 7.1% return on investments. The industry continues to face a
difficult claims environment and investment markets are particularly volatile, suggesting the need for further industrywide premium increases.”
“During 2007/8 and at renewal we continued to attract more high-quality members, with 35 shipowners entering ships
for the first time,” says joint deputy managing director Paul Jennings. “We were also pleased that our existing
members continued to add ships and support the club, resulting in a total annual growth of nearly 10 million GT
owned tonnage and 10 million GT chartered tonnage.”
Managing director Rodney Eccleston says: “The continued growth in membership reflects the club’s proactive approach
to service. The board is acutely aware of the need to maintain service levels so has approved the recruitment of
additional staff, which will increase the team to 200 people within 12 months.” Source : Maritime Global Net

Containers in beslag genomen in
Rotterdamse haven
in beslag genomen.
uitvaartverbod geldt. Naar de verantwoordelijken loopt een onderzoek. De inspecties van de containers duurt volgens
de politie nog enkele dagen.

Dutch company negotiates for release
of crew of hijacked ship
A Dutch shipping company is negotiating with Somali pirates in an attempt to gain the release of nine crew members
of a hijacked freighter. Lars Walder, spokesman for the ship's owner Reider Shipping BV, said his company is in
contact with the hijackers and "as far as we know none of the crew has been injured or worse."
The ship, the MV Amiya Scan, was chartered by a Danish company, Scan-Trans Shipping, and sails under a
Panamanian flag of convenience. Officials say it departed Kenya on May 19 on its way to Romania with a
decommissioned oil platform when it was hijacked Sunday in the Gulf of Aden.
Walder says the crew included four Russians and five Filipinos. Walder said his company, based in the far northern
town of Winschoten, Netherlands, would not comment on the pirates' demands out of concern for the safety of the
crew.
The Amiya Scan is the sixth ship to have been hijacked by Somali pirates in two months, according to the
Commercial Crimes Services of the International Maritime Bureau. Since Jan. 1, 24 ships have been hijacked in the
Gulf of Aden, compared with 44 for all of last year. Globally, 157 hostages have been taken by pirates and released
unharmed this year before the Amiya Scan hijacking, said Pottengal Mukundan, director of crimes services.
Neither the company nor the agency would discuss details of the seizure of the Amiya Scan or the negotiations.
Typically, vessels are seized at the entrance to the gulf, "an area rich in targets because it is the normal route for
vessels heading into the Suez Canal," said Mukundan. The ships are taken inside Somalia's 20-kilometre territorial
limit and anchored off coastal areas controlled by militias.
In a rare case of naval intervention, French commandos in April freed hostages from a French tourist yacht seized last
month off the Somali coast, and then chased the pirates on land and arrested them.
The United States has been leading international patrols to combat piracy along Somalia's 3,025-kilometre coast. The
U.S. and France are drafting a UN resolution that would allow countries to chase and arrest pirates. Source : Canoe

Solar Boat Team maakt zich klaar voor
Frisian Solar Challenge
Georgina Verbaan onthult Delta Lloyd Solar Boat

Nederlandse rederij Reider Shipping in Winschoten (Groningen).

Australia - Illegal fishermen briefed on
fishing boundaries
The Indonesian consulate in Darwin says Indonesian fishermen being held in a local detention centre have been given
a briefing on maps agreed to between the Australian and Indonesian governments as to where to they can legally fish.
The briefing came a week after 55 fishermen were returned home after the Federal Government acknowledged they
had been wrongly detained. About 240 fishermen were apprehended in April in the Timor Sea. A further 50 were sent
home on the weekend.
The Indonesian consul Harbangan Napitupulu says some of the 150 who remain were given a briefing by the
Australian Fisheries Management Authority on fishing boundaries between the two countries. Some of the remaining
fishermen in detention believe they were wrongfully apprehended and the matter is before the courts. Source :

British nuclear-powered submarine
collides with rocks in the Middle East
Naval investigators are seeking to discover how a British nuclear-powered submarine was damaged so badly it is no
longer able to dive after hitting rocks in the Red Sea.
There were no other vessels involved in HMS Superb's underwater accident on Monday when it hit rocks apparently
marked on a chart and investigations will centre on whether it was caused by human error or equipment failure.
If human error is found to have been the cause, officers responsible for navigation are liable to face a court martial.
The extent of the damage to Superb's sonar equipment was unclear last night but embarrassed Naval chiefs must
now decide how to return her to port, when she is unable to dive.
Any potential hazards in the waters of the Red Sea are well chronicled and investigators will ask how a submarine with
sophisticated equipment could strike a rock which would have been marked on a chart.
It came just days after in another embarrassment, it was revealed that an official inquiry into an accident when a
nuclear submarine suffered £5million damage showed it has crashed into the seabed because officers had used tracing
paper to plot her course. Superb, a Swift-sure class "hunter killer" attack submarine with a crew of 112, hit the
underwater pinnacle 80 miles south of Suez which it had passed through en-route to the northern Red Sea.

The 272-foot vessel is capable of carrying Tomahawk missiles, but it was not clear whether she was armed with them
at the time. In 2001 she was deployed in support of operations in Afghanistan.
A Ministry of Defence spokesman refused to discuss the possible cost of repair but stressed the submarine's reactor
was "completely unaffected" and there was "no environmental impact" from the collision.
'There were no casualities and the submarine remains watertight, is safe on the surface and able to operate under its
own power,' he said. It is currently in international waters and Commanding Steve Drysdale, the commanding officer,
who was forced to surface after the unexplained accident, is awaiting instructions on where the vessel should go for
repairs.
The MoD would not confirm whether the father-of-one, from Miskin, near Cardiff, was in charge when the 32-year-old
submarine crashed. Cmdr Drysdale, who joined the Navy in 1984, was appointed commanding officer of Superb in
December 2006 and had previously been navigating officer and then watch leader on Swiftsure-class submarines HMS
Sovereign and HMS Spartan.
Two senior officers were reprimanded after the earlier inquiry into how the 5,000 ton Trafalgar submarine, travelling
at 14 knots - about 16mph - crashed 165ft below the surface in waters off the Isle of Skye, Scotland, in 2002.
Three crewmen were injured when the submarine turned into rocks because trainee commanders could not see vital
symbols that had been covered by the tracing paper.
Senior supervising officers were criticised for serious lapses after the tracing paper was put over charts to prevent pen
marks damaging the maps. The paper hid ocean bed contours and symbols which showed underwater current
strengths. Post-It notes were also placed over other vital systems to simulate battle damage. The boat's satellite
navigation system had been turned off to increase the stress on the trainee captain during the examination nicknamed
"Pressure Cooker."
Trafalgar required an 18 month refit when it finally limped back into its Scottish submarine base. Source : MailOnline

Kitty Hawk leaves Japan for decommissioning
The oldest active ship in the U.S. Navy, the USS Kitty Hawk aircraft carrier, made its final departure from Japan on
Wednesday to be decommissioned after nearly half a century of service.
The Kitty Hawk, with sailors lining its decks, pulled away from Yokosuka port just south of Tokyo to the cheers of
hundreds of schoolchildren and the sounds of brass bands.
The Kitty Hawk, the last conventionally powered aircraft carrier in the Navy, is to be replaced later this summer by
the USS George Washington, a nuclear-powered carrier.
After leaving Japan, the Kitty Hawk will make a stop at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii and then travel on to the Puget Sound
Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington, to be decommissioned.

The ship, commissioned in 1961 and the only forward-deployed aircraft carrier in the Navy, was assigned to Japan in
1998. It has since made 20 deployments in the western Pacific and participated in Operation Enduring Freedom in
Iraq.
It was the oldest active ship with the longest total period of active service in the Navy. "Since it arrived in August
1998, the Kitty Hawk has been a visible symbol of strength in a rapidly changing world," U.S. Ambassador to Tokyo
Thomas Schieffer said. "Goodbye Kitty Hawk, hello George Washington."
The Kitty Hawk and its battle group are the centerpiece of the 7th Fleet, the largest in the Navy, with 40 to 50 ships,
120 aircraft and about 20,000 sailors and Marines. Roughly 21 of the ships are based in Japan and the Pacific island of
Guam, while the others rotate out of ports in Hawaii and the U.S. West Coast.
Along with the other 7th Fleet ships, the battle group in Yokosuka, once a major Imperial Japanese Navy hub, has a
huge area of responsibility - covering 52 million square miles of the Pacific and Indian oceans, from the international
dateline to the east coast of Africa.
Japan's leadership strongly backs the U.S. military presence in the country, and says the more than 50,000 U.S. troops
in Japan are a stabilizing force for all of Asia.
However, the replacement of the Kitty Hawk by a nuclear-powered ship is controversial among some here because
of fears of an accident. Navy officials have stressed that the ship is safe, and pointed out that nuclear-powered
submarines have long transited Yokosuka with no problems.
Concerns about the George Washington were raised again earlier this month when a fire on the ship left one sailor
with minor burns and 23 others with heat stress. Sailors extinguished the fire several hours after flames were spotted
near the auxiliary boiler room and air conditioning and refrigeration space in the rear of the ship. The Navy said the
fire spread through a passageway for cables.
The George Washington is scheduled to be based at Yokosuka starting August. Yokosuka has hosted US aircraft
carriers -- the USS Midway, Independence and then the Kitty Hawk -- since 1973. Source : Seattle Times

THE ROYAL NETHERLANDS NAVY VISIT
TO KENYA
The Royal Netherlands Navy ship "Evertsen" docked into Mombasa after escorting the World Food Program charted
vessels taking food to Somalia's citizens.
The 'Evertsen is operating in this region

programme who are trying to bring food
to the citizens of Somalia, a country
disrupted by war, refugees and hunger.

almost all harvest has been destroyed
because of that.

80 per cent of WFP-aid for Somalia is
transported over sea. Which is dangerous,
because as you all know there's a lot of
piracy along the Somalian coast and some WFP-chartered vessels have been hijacked early 2007.
Because of this some countries have offered assistance by escorting the WFP-ships with their naval vessels. The
Evertsen is escorting WFP-ships from beginning of April to end of June 2008. Because of the escorting efforts no
attempts of piracy have occurred since.
In between the escorts the Evertsen is regularly in Mombasa as it is the primary port to on load the WFP-aid for
Somalia. During this Mombasa port visits the Evertsen is preparing for next escort and sometimes the crew can relax
a little.
For this reason the crew members decided to visit Wild Waters and spend a relaxing and exciting day out which they
thoroughly enjoyed. Officer Wilbert van Gemeren who organized the trip said that they had spend a wonderful time
and were very happy with the staff who made sure the visit was worthwhile and will recommend all crew members to
visit in the near future. Source : coastweek
Minister says SA has enough submarine crew
Defence Minister Mosiuoa Lekota has dismissed suggestions that the navy has sufficient crew to man only one of its
three new submarines, saying the reports are unfounded.
The third of the hi-tech German submarines, the Queen Modjadji, was delivered last week. The occasion again
prompted news reports that one crew sailed all three home and that there were only sufficient submariners for one
vessel. Briefing the media ahead of his budget vote debate yesterday, Lekota said he did not know where these
reports originated from, but “they are entirely fallacious”. He asked rhetorically how all three vessels could be at sea
simultaneously if there was only one crew. He insisted that all three were commissioned and operating.
Crew would continue to be trained for the submarines in the future, he said. Later, introducing his budget vote in an
extended public committee of the National Assembly, Lekota said that the eagerly awaited review of the force design
of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) was complete and would go to cabinet soon.

The design would provide a core nucleus of capabilities that could be expanded and developed should the need arise .
“This implies the need to ensure that all the necessary building blocks such as doctrine, technology, and training
capabilities are retained at an appropriate level to provide the backbone to future growth as and when required by
government,” Lekota said. The army’s mandate to defend and protect SA’s sovereignty and territorial integrity
demanded versatility to counter a range of potential threats, and also the mobility to operate across the range of
terrain that might be encountered.
SA’s contribution to global security also implied long-term involvement in peace missions.
After going to the cabinet, the design would go to the national legislature. Lekota explained that the review had been
made necessary because of the changing situation in the defence force. He said in 1994 with the birth of democracy
there had been a wholly defensive posture for the SANDF along with its constitutionally defined primary mandate. But
since then the involvement of the defence force in peacekeeping operations elsewhere on the continent had meant
that the force design decided in 1998 had to be revisited.
“The demands of sustaining and maintaining forces over long distances in remote and underdeveloped locations, for
example during peace missions, are a particular challenge. “Such capabilities may differ from what is required to
support operations in defence of SA or in support of the people of SA.
“However the SANDF should only be employed within the means of that government can afford. “Compliance with this
principle is only possible if selective engagement in deployment is achieved through a process of consultation between
the defence minister, cabinet and the president,” Lekota said.
He said the defence of the country from external military threats was a given as the SANDF’s primary function.

US Navy to name destroyers after 2
combat heroes
The tradition of paying tribute to combat heroes by naming Navy ships after them has reached the U.S. wars in
Afghanistan and Iraq. The first two destroyers named after Medal of Honor recipients from those conflicts are to be
commissioned in 2010 and 2011.
The Navy's newest guided-missile destroyer, expected to be launched in 2011, will be named after Navy SEAL Lt.
Michael Murphy, who was killed on June 28, 2005, Navy spokesman Lt. Clay Doss said. Murphy left his cover
position to signal for help while under heavy fire in Afghanistan, according to the " Heroes in the War on Terror"
website. Murphy, who received the Medal of Honor, the U.S. military's highest decoration, is the second IraqAfghanistan veteran honored with a ship named after him.
The Navy announced last year it would name a destroyer after Marine Cpl. Jason Dunham, who used his helmet and
body to cover a grenade in Iraq on April 14, 2004, protecting members of his platoon from the bulk of the blast,
according to the Department of Defense's "Heroes in the War on Terror" website. Dunham died from his injuries eight
days later and in 2006 received a Medal of Honor for his actions. The USS Jason Dunham is expected to be
commissioned in 2010.
The initials of his parents, Debra and Daniel Dunham, were welded into the keel of the destroyer earlier this year,
Debra Dunham said.
Honoring fallen heroes by naming destroyers after them is a Navy tradition that dates back to before World War I, said
Jack Green, public affairs officer at the Naval Historical Center.
For Cpl. Dunham's parents, it's another way the military honors their son's actions, Debra Dunham said.

"It puts his memory into history," she said. Green said there have been more than 1,000 destroyers named after
sailors or Marines.
The Secretary of the Navy has the final authority to approve names and receives input from a number of sources
including individuals, groups and the Naval Historical Center, Doss said. The Secretary of the Navy was first given
congressional authority to name all ships back in 1819, he said. Four Medals of Honor have been awarded to military
personnel who fought in Iraq and Afghanistan — two from the Navy, one from the Army and one from the Marines.
Navy destroyers are named only after sailors or Marines.

USCG: Problems with New Cutter Being Fixed
The U.S. Coast Guard's new national security cutter, the Bertholf, is steadily whittling down its number of outstanding
technical problems now that its crew has moved aboard and the ship is taking regular trips to sea, senior Coast Guard
officials said May 27.
Rear Adm. Gary Blore, the service's head of acquisitions, said in a conference call with reporters that the presence of
the crew onboard had enabled Coast Guardsman and shipyard engineers to resolve five of the eight systems "starred"
in an April report by the Navy Board of Inspection and Survey. By the time the cutter sails from its Gulf Coast shipyard
in mid-June, Blore expected all eight problems to be resolved.
"I cannot tell you how valuable it has been to have the 122 men and women aboard - it's like a whole different world,"
Blore said. "They can work fast through issues, they're all doing it all at the same time ... it's a phenomenal force
multiplier to have the crew on board. It's made a huge difference."
A Navy inspection identified 2,816 points, noted as "trial cards," plus the eight "starred" systems, that were incomplete
or needed work aboard the 418-foot, $641 million Bertholf. Those points were carried over May 8 when the Coast
Guard signed the paperwork to accept the ship in a "special commission" status, prompting a few members of
Congress to criticize the Coast Guard for taking ownership of what critics fear is at best an unfinished ship, and at
worst a lemon.
Still, officials said May 27 the cutter has used its first-of-its-kind stern ramp about 60 times to launch the new small
boats it carries - the Long Range Interceptor and the Short-Range Prosecutor - and that its flight deck is ready to
accept the first landings by Coast Guard helicopters.
Top Coast Guardsmen also said they were confident that work was progressing on the Bertholf's command and
communications gear, known by the acronym C4ISR, which had generated about 650 trial cards in its first inspection
in June 2007. By the time of the most recent inspection, when a team from the Navy's Space and Warfare Command
came aboard in April, there were 122 remaining C4ISR trial cards, officials said.
The ship is to undergo its next major C4ISR inspection in the middle of August, Blore said, when it arrives in its new
homeport of Alameda, Calif. In the meantime, the Bertholf is scheduled to sail up the East Coast this summer and dock
in Baltimore, where senior Coast Guard officials and congressional overseers will tour the ship.

HMS Lusty: Royal Navy crew
reprimanded over Turkish orgy pictures
Sailors on a Royal Navy aircraft carrier have been reprimanded over a drunken
cross-dressing party in Istanbul the day after the Queen and the Turkish
president had made an official visit to the ship.
Pictures of male and female ratings from HMS Illustrious groping each
other, exposing themselves and simulating sex appeared in a Turkish
newspaper, which suggested that the "disgusting" antics had shamed Britain.
Locals who witnessed the private party in the largely Muslim country claimed
some of the crew members had "made love to each other in the street" while
others had to be carried back on board.
Less than 24 hours earlier the 22,000 ton carrier, appropriately nicknamed
HMS Lusty, had been the venue for a prestigious reception for 350 Turkish
dignitaries, welcomed aboard by the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh during
the monarch’s state visit earlier this month. Source : telegraph.co.uk
New 007 arrives with warships
A catsuited model in stiletto heels strode the deck of a British warship with Royal Navy helicopters roaring overhead. It
was not a bout of naval hijinks, but the year's most-hyped literary event - the publication of a new adventure for
super-spy James Bond.
The larger-than-life launch on Tuesday of the novel Devil May Care proved that 100 years after the birth of 007 creator
Ian Fleming, the Bond brand was stronger than ever.
A large crowd of journalists and onlookers gathered to watch model Tuuli Shipster, whose silhouette adorns the cover
of the book's British edition, bring the first published copies up the River Thames in a military speedboat before
unpacking them aboard HMS Exeter, a destroyer moored near Tower Bridge.
"I can remember Uncle Ian's books being delivered wrapped in brown paper and string by a postman on a bicycle,"
said Ian Fleming's niece Lucy Fleming as she stood on the destroyer's gunmetal-gray deck. "The Royal Navy has upped
the ante a little."
Britain's military appeared happy to play up its ties to the fictional spy, who held the rank of Royal Navy commander
before going to work for MI6. The navy loaned the Exeter and its 250-strong crew for an elaborate photo opportunity
for "Devil May Care," written by Sebastian Faulks and published to mark Fleming's 100th birthday on Wednesday.
Fleming, a journalist and wartime intelligence officer, wrote 14 James Bond books before his death in 1964. But
Faulks' license to thrill, which coincided with actor Daniel Craig's reinvigoration of the Bond film franchise, generated a
renewed sense of excitement around the character.
The book's publishers - Penguin in Britain, Doubleday in the United States - were keeping its contents under wraps
until it hit shops on Wednesday. This much was known: the book has a 1960s Cold War setting; there were locations
in Paris, Rome and the Middle East; there was torture and there was romance.
Hardcore 007 aficionados were optimistic the result would be classic Bond. Source : news24.com

ODENSE STRIVES FOR EFFICIENCY, TO
SURVIVE
DANISH shipping giant AP Moller Maersk has issued a blunt statement warning of lay-offs at its shipbuilding subsidiary
Odense Staalskibsværft at Lindø. The yard is, the company says: “in an extremely difficult financial position”. It adds:
“Lindø is still operating at a massive loss and is hit hard by the
international fluctuations, including the development of the US dollar.”
The company says that severe competition from the Far East, “where
costs are substantially lower than here”, also contributes to putting
Lindø under pressure.
"This is the background for presenting a plan for an efficiency drive to
Lindø's Board of Directors, a plan which the Board has discussed at
today's meeting," says Lars-Erik Brenøe, Chairman of the Board, who
continues: "The objective of implementing the plan is to ensure that
there will still be a shipyard on Funen in the coming years. The Owner
has in recent years invested substantial amounts in the yard, but it is necessary now to bring down the yard's costs
significantly in order to provide momentum for its possibilities of surviving in the long term. In this connection, it might
not be possible to avoid lay offs," says Lars-Erik Brenøe. Source : Maritime Global Net

Scheepsbouw breekt records

In
Bron : PZC

The design is specific for the harsh corrosive environmental conditions in which the dredge has to operate, thus the
use of specific materials, adequate cooling capacity and cleaning devices for coolers. Due to the location of the Dead
Sea, the dredge was transported by sea and land to her final destination. This is why the dredge was made
dismountable. The use of digital technology and modular design allowed for easy disassembly and assembly. The
dredge is a stationary dredge equipped with two spuds on the aft side, which can be hoisted and lowered in a
controlled manner. The bottom parts of the spuds are weighted to increase impact during controlled lowering and
penetration of the ground. One of the spuds is installed on a spud carrier, which is moved by means of a horizontal
hydraulic cylinder. The swing is performed via two side winches installed on the ladder, under the control cabin. The
anchors are placed by two anchor booms, located on the forward pontoons on both sides of the vessel. The cutter is
driven by a hydraulic motor. For maintenance purposes a cutter platform is provided. The dredge excavates at an
average depth of two to three metres.
Rotterdam neemt snelle veerverbinding
in gebruik

gratis.
Maersk adjusts South America service
Maersk Line has adjusted its South America service, adding a second Ecuador feeder with an improved loop to provide

Unicorn Calulo’s new bunker barges
arrive this weekend
Two bunker barges, built in China for Unicorn Shipping are due to arrive in Richards Bay on Sunday, 31 May. They will
arrive on board a semi-submersible deck barge Zhong Ren 1501 under tow behind the tug Sui Jiu 201.
The two barges will herald the arrival of a new bunker barging operation in South Africa, operated by Unicorn Calulo
Bunker Services, which is a BEE joint venture between Unicorn Shipping and Calulo Petrochemicals. Unicorn Calulo has
entered into five-year contracts with the oil majors to provide bunkering services by barge in the ports of Durban and
Cape Town.
Once discharged and checked out from the Zhong Ren 1501 the barges, which have been named Southern Valour and
Southern Venture, will make their way from Richards Bay to Durban under their own power. One of these barges is to
remain in Durban to take up duty at this port, while the other will subsequently sail also under its own power to Cape
Town.
The third barge, which is to be built in Durban by Dormac Marine for a figure of R80 million will in all likelihood be
stationed at Durban as well.
The contracts awarded by the oil majors are worth USD 75 million over a five year period with options for renewal.
Smit Amandla Marine was the other successful tenderer and has had a new double-hulled bunker barge Smit LiPuma

Petrobras new sub-salt oil discovery
Brazilian state player Petrobras has confirmed the presence of oil in pre-salt reservoirs on Block BM-S-8 in the Santos
basin. Petrobras said in a statement that a formation test had proved the presence of oil in well 1-PRSA-532A-SPS.
The company said preliminary analyses shows oil gravity to be between 25 and 28 API grade, comparable to that of
the other pre-salt oils found in the Santos basin.
The well, the first on the block, lies in 2139 metres of water about 250 kilometres off Brazil's Sao Paulo state. The well
was drilled to total depth of about 6773 metres, tapping oil accumulations at about 6000 metres.
Petrobras is operator of block BM-S-8 while Shell holds a 20% stake and Portugal's Galp Energia holds a 14% stake.
The consortium was preparing an evaluation of the find to be presented to Brazilian energy regulator ANP, Petrobras
said.
However, the company provided no reserves estimates. It is not clear whether the find, and other recent sub-salt
discoveries in the so-called Sugarloaf region, are part of a single structure. The new oilfield is close to Petrobras's
giant Tupi find of last year, estimated at between 5 billion and 10 billion barrels, and one of the biggest oil discoveries
in the last 20 years.
