Completed on time and on budget in 2012 Project Value - $38,000 OLYMPIC LEGACY TOTEM POLE VANCOUVER, BC Commissioned by Petro-Canada (Suncor) as part of their sponsorship of the games. The 22’ hand carved red cedar totem depicting Thunderbird, Whale, Bear, Frog and the Faces told the story of the coming together of nations for the 2010 Winter Olympics. Project included video production (“Legacy Pole” on YouTube), media availability and in-person storytelling. Completed on time and on budget in 2010 Project Value - $90,000 COLLINGWOOD SCHOOL (WENTWORTH CAMPUS) WEST VANCOUVER, BC This project consisted of a hand carved 10’ Eagle totem pole. The Eagle design we chosen in consultation with school administrators as the symbol of strength, honour and vision. The totem and the symbolism of Eagle is the basis of the school’s recently revised Code of Conduct. Much of the finishing carving took place at the school and included significant education aspects and student participation. The totem raising and blessing ceremony was attended by the entire faculty and student body. Completed on time and on budget in 2013 Project Value - $38,000 PRIVATE FAMILY COMMISSION WEST VANCOUVER, BC A 23’ totem pole, hand carved in Western Red Cedar, with 4 images representing family members (Raven, Wolf, Bear, Beaver). Formal raising and blessing ceremonies attended by family and friends. Completed on time and on budget in 2011 Project Value - $117,500 COLLINGWOOD SCHOOL MORVEN CAMPUS WEST VANCOUVER, BC This project recently completed and consists of a 15’ totem pole of red cedar depicting images representative of Collingwood School’s four Strands of Excellence – Eagle (academics), Bear (athletics), Salmon (service), Faces (arts). Totem was installed and blessing ceremonies with student and faculty participation is scheduled for October 2014. Completed on early and on budget in 2014-09-10 Project Value - $127,000
