In the United States, Dr. Morin works closely with
neurosurgeons, surgical oncologists, dermatologists and
neonatologists in order to restore proper form and function to
patients with traumatic injuries, congenital abnormalities and
cancer.
ABOUT DR. MORIN
Dr. Robert Morin is a board certified plastic surgeon with offices
on Central Park South in Manhattan, and in Hackensack, New
Jersey. He performs a wide range of cosmetic and
reconstructive procedures. Dr. Morin has a special interest in
rhinoplasty and complex facial, nose and ear reconstruction.
Dr. Morin’s accredited fellowship in craniofacial surgery,
pediatric plastic surgery and facial cosmetic surgery has given
him the ability to perform complex surgical procedures on the
faces of both adults and children.
He applies these highly specialized skills while reconstructing
the faces of children with cleft lips and palates, cleft nasal
deformities and congenital ear deformities. Dr. Morin donates
one week of his time each year, and all of these skills, to
children in developing countries throughout the world.
Dr. Morin is also highly trained in cosmetic plastic surgery.
Rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, blepharoplasty,
rhytidectomy and abdominoplasty are among the procedures
Dr. Morin commonly performs. Dr. Morin’s passion towards nose
reconstruction has resulted in a thorough understanding of the
nose and he currently teaches cosmetic surgery fellows how to
perform rhinoplasty surgery at several New York City area
hospitals.
Dr. Morin’s goal is to produce aesthetically pleasing and natural
appearing results. Dr. Morin believes in using fundamentally
sound surgical procedures that have stood the test of time.

As the American Board of Medical Specialties logo states, “Certification
Matters.” Dr. Robert Morin is certified by the American Board of Plastic
Surgery. The American Board of Plastic Surgery is the only board that certifies
that plastic surgeons have met all of the strict requirements necessary to call
themselves board certified plastic surgeons in the United States. Dr. Morin
believes it is extremely important to make sure that your surgeon is certified
by the appropriate board for their specific field. It is therefore wise to not only
ask if your surgeon is board certified but also to ask by what board.
Membership in field specific societies is important as well. In plastic surgery,
the American Socity of Plastic Surgeons is the largest and most influential
society. Dr. Morin is an active member of this society.

Robert Morin, MD is the co-founder and president of Developing
Faces, Inc. Developing Faces is a nonprofit organization that was
created to provide high quality surgical care to babies and children
with facial abnormalities living in developing countries around the
world. Dr. Morin volunteers his time and surgical skills every year in
order to perform life altering pediatric plastic surgery. In the past 6
years he has been a part of surgical missions to Colombia,
Guatemala, Mauritius, the Philippines and Haiti days after the
earthquake.
