Golftage München 2016
A more than successful start into the outdoor season
On the 14th of February, the 7th edition of Golftage München, the
golf fair in South Germany, in the exhibition halls of MOC Munich,
ended with a phenomenal result. As kickoff for the golfing season
2016, with more than 10 500 visitors keen on sports, the fair turned
out to be a crowd-puller, just like in the years before.
Everything related to the white ball was presented by more than
120 international exhibitors from the 12th until the 14th of February
on an exhibtion space of 6300 square metres.
The visitors of Golftage München from South Germany and the
neighbouring countries were convinced by the broad range of the
fair and made use of the compact shopping experience to equip
themselves for the season 2016.
Golftage München Highlights
 Golf Arena, where the Golfakademie Valley unter der Leitung
von Arne Dickel as Jonathan Taylor from The Move demonstrated
tips and tricks
 North-South-Contest – What is expected with excitement every season
when it comes to football, was staged by the visitors of the both fairs
Hanse Golf and Golftage München on a golf simulator. In the end,
Munich won by 21 420 to 20 400 points.
 Two indoor driving ranges with 10 tees
 Longest Putt Contest for a good cause of Stiftung Birdie Kids e.V.

 Diners Club interview stage with Noah Pudelko from Sky Sport News HD
 Large putting green with several putting experts
 Interactive workshops for an improved game with tips for better
coordination and agility
 Attractive promotions and competitions at the exhibitiors' stands

North-South-Contest
For the first time, there was a so called North-South-Contest between the
visitors of Hanse Golf and Golftage München this year.
With the Nearest-to-the-Pin-Competition on 80 and 100 metres, Munich
could beat Hamburg. The final score was 21 420 to 20 400 points.
The visitors of both fairs donated 1 Euro per shot. The proceeds of
3,200 Euros were given tot he EAGLES Charity Golf Club E.V. Within the
context oft he North-South-Contest, also celebrities from Hamburg and
Munich represented their cities.
For Hanse Golf, Gerhard Delling, Alfred Draxler, Nova Meierhenrich and
Sven Strüver decided to step up. Golftage München were represented
by Carl-Uwe Steeb, Susi Erdmann, Martina Eberl-Ellis and Norbert
Dobeleit. In this competition, Munich emerged the winner too.
