Caterham Round Table open Caterham Wed 1st June 7.45pm Coulsdon Manor Golf Club Meet the men who organise many events in Caterham and see what else they do, see Caterham Festival 2016 www.caterhamfestival.org Greetings and Welcome Welcome to the 2016 Caterham Festival. Once again we have well over 100 events for you to enjoy. We hope there is something for everyone and what we originally envisaged as a week, or possibly a two week event now runs for over 6 weeks. This will be the 8th Caterham Festival with many of your favourite events as well as many new ones. I trust you will all be able to get out and to try something new. This year the Miller centre are organising three days of Jazz at three different locations in Caterham Valley and there are some top performers coming. Since the start of the Festival we have always had some big events at the beginning with two days of De Fest, The Street Party and the Food Festival. This year we are planning a Festival finale with The Oxted band performing last night of the proms, along with a beer Festival the Beacon, the model air display and some fireworks. Many thanks for Martin and Co lettings agents for supporting us with this. Further details will be available soon on our website www.caterhamfestival.org or on our Facebook page. I hope I will see you there. Last year I attended as many events as I could and had a great time meeting people and trying out new things. I had another go riding the Waller pain; my old record is still intact and I was again overtaken by children. At the end of last year’s festival I managed to relax for a whole day by attending the wedding of my son Gareth to Sabina - who knows what I’ll be doing later this year! To everyone who helps us by running events, by assisting at events and helping the organisers, I send my very grateful thanks. Caterham is a marvellous place to live, thanks to all of you.
