The Fire Juniors is the official youth club affiliate of the Chicago Fire Soccer Club.

Mike Matkovich, Chicago Fire Juniors South Director of Coaching and MLS Chicago Fire first team assistant coach. The longtime Chicago-area
coach played his first role with the club as the head coach of the Chicago Fire PDL from 2002-06. During his tenure, the PDL side went 79-15-4,
made
a trip to the 2003 North American Championship, and went undefeated (17-0-1) during the 2004 regular season. Hailing from Frankfort, IL,
Matkovich
spent 2011 as the Director of Coaching for the Chicago Fire Juniors-South and as an assistant coach for the club’s Academy sides.
