Issue 10
30th November, 2012
It was such a pleasure to take P3 on a ‘Tourism’ trip to Madame Tussauds
yesterday! They were a very happy class who told me the names of the
famous film stars, pop stars and sportsmen!! We met Father Christmas...he
looked so real but was actually made out of wax! We had great fun on the
taxis which took us back in time and we all really loved the 4D show!!!!! We
felt our seats shake and we even got wet!!! The show was ......amazing!!!!
Afterwards we had a picnic sitting in sunshine in Regents Park being
watched by pigeons, herons, ducks and geese. We even had time for a brisk
walk round the park. What a great day!!!! Well done and ‘thank you’ to P3 for
being a class to be proud of!

Celebration of Achievement Evening
Hopefully parents/carers of our KS4 and Post 16 students will have received their invitation to our Celebration of Achievement Evening on December 11th. Please remember
to send back your reply slips! ( If your son/ daughter moved into KS4 this September
they would have attended or been invited to our Lower School Celebration which was
held in July so will not have been invited to the December Event.)
Raffle Tickets
These are being sent home today. If every family were able to sell 2 books we would
raise £1650 for Hearts Of Oak which is our school charity . Please help us to support
your children!
Jackets
Please remember as the weather gets colder students need their jackets for outdoor
play and for any outings they may go on.

From the Classes
L1 and L3 went to the Transport
Museum on Tuesday. Everyone really
enjoyed seeing all of the old transport
and playing on the interactive machines.
Look at the

From the Classes
P5 News - Oona particularly enjoyed going to Mill Hill
Swimming Pool this week on the bus and having a swim
using breast stroke under water. Steven liked playing
football during the week, it put a great big smile on his
face! Sarah got a lot out of cooking this week, she
cooked steaming hot food using lots of different equipment and it was beautiful and delicious. Guillaume was
good in music this Thursday and played the bass guitar.
He practised the four strings to make the low melodies
of the song. Siobhan enjoyed creating graffiti in Art.
Ashish was helped by his music lesson to create some
happy moods for learning. Aisha is getting a lot out of
her office work experience with the staff in the school
office. Joseph loved learning new chords on his guitar in
music.
S2, S3, S4 and S5 have been
exploring solid shapes and
have built some fantastic
models using Polydron. Well
done to everyone!
