Engines Easter Jazz Course
In partnership with Sydenham High School GDST
After a sellout course last
year the Engines Easter Jazz
Course returns to Sydenham
High School between the 8th
and 10th April 2015. The EEJC
brings your child the
opportunity to work with
some of the UK’s most
celebrated jazz musicians for
three days of creative music
making!
This year multi-award winning
instrumentalists Phil Meadows
and Laura Jurd will be running
the instrumental music whilst Alice Zawadzki directs the brand new vocal course!
Together they will be working with your child on a combination of large and small
group ensemble playing approaches to improvisation as well as helping develop
instrumental and vocal technique!
The course costs just £90 for three days and culminates in an end of course
performance open to family and friends! Running between 10am and 4pm it offers a
rare opportunity to work with three of the UK’s finest young musicians and we hope
you can join us! Places are limited to 30 instrumentalists and 15 vocalists and are
based on a first come first served basis so booking early is advised. All you have to
do is return the application form and a cheque for £75 to Philip Meadows, Engines
Orchestra – 195 Leahurst Road, Hither Green, London SE13 5LS.
