Our quotes vary depending on location and date.
Once you have contacted us with the information
regarding your event, we will provide you with a
quote, usually within 48 hours.
DOES THE BAND PLAY ANY DAY OF THE
WEEK?
We mainly perform on weekends. Under certain
circumstances, we may be able to book a
performance on a weeknight with advance notice.
IS THE FEE FOR THE BAND REDUCED IF I
ONLY NEED YOU FOR LESS THAN 3-4
HOURS?
No, it takes as much time and manpower to
perform a 3-4 hour performance as it does a 1-2
hour performance.
DO YOU ALLOW FLEXIBILITY IN YOUR

Yes! We realize that your wedding reception,
anniversary, or other special event may require
specific breaks or starting & stopping times. We’re
happy to work with you to make your event a

BD’s History
King Edward & the BD's Band, one of
Richmond, Virginia's favorite bands of the late
‘60's, reunited in the mid ‘80's, and still prove
to be one of the more popular choices for great
music and entertainment. Those of you who remember the BD’s number
three regional hit “Beg Me” in the 60’s, along
with their other great recordings “I Do,”
“MTYLTT,” and “Working For My Baby,”
will be pleased to know that they continued to
record great music over the years. In the ‘80’s
they recorded an original song, “Going to the
Beach,” and a remake of an original song,
“They Say the Girl Is Crazy.” are dedicated to keeping the great music of the
past alive and well with the utmost
professionalism. “The Heeey Baby Days of Beach Music,” a
book written by Greg Haynes of Atlanta,
Georgia, and released in 2006, tells the stories
and remembrances of a Southern Music Genre
and its bands of the 1960’s. The BD’s are one
of the groups featured in the book. The BD’s
memorabilia was also featured in “The Heeey
Baby Days of Beach Music” special exhibit in
the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in Macon,
Georgia.
