Break out your cameras! The City of Orlando’s
Downtown Development Board, in partnership
with the Downtown Arts District, is excited to be
hosting the second annual Best of DTO Photo
Contest. Photographers of all ages and skill levels
are invited to submit their best high­resolution
photos capturing all that DTO has to offer in at
least one of the five categories: Lake Eola, DTO
Community, Family Fun, Skyline and Best of DTO.

When Life Gives You Limes...
The start of construction for Creative Village has
officially begun! On Thursday, May 14, the Federal
Transit Administration, City of Orlando and LYNX
kicked off the construction to the LYMMO Lime
Line, Downtown’s newest bus rapid transit line.
Keeping Orlando moving continues to be a priority
for the City of Orlando. By providing multi­modal
forms of transportation, those who live, work and
play Downtown have a variety of options for getting
around. The expansion of the Lime Line will add
nine stops and 2.1 miles of service and connect the

movie series is back! Bring blankets, chairs, snacks
and your family and friends to see Brave on Friday,
May 29. The event begins at 6 p.m. and the movie

a good spot and enjoy the free pre­movie fun. Food
will be available for purchase. MoviEola takes
place on the last Friday of the month through

Historic Preservation Board
Calendar Contest
The City of Orlando's Historic Preservation
Board is currently seeking photographs for the
2016 Historic Preservation Board Calendar. The
2016 Calendar theme is “Bungalows of Orlando’s
Historic Districts.” The Historic Preservation
Board is looking for photos that capture the
craftsmanship, history and unique architectural
characteristics of Orlando’s historic bungalows in
black and white pictures. To view the rules and

environment is the style of local artist Jason
Fronczek. Fronczek’s work is currently on display
in the Spotlight Gallery at the Downtown Orlando
