I ~ \ ... / Vacaville Ladies Night! Singer/Songwriter Competition Ladies Night is back once again! This is What a great event this has turned out to be for the second year in a row. Over the last our 3rd year of this event and it's one of the more popular ones Downtown. It's six weeks more than 75 musicians have turned out to sing 1 original song for the happening on Wednesday March 9th from 5 judges and audience .. .and there's still 3 pm to 9 pm throughout the Heart Of The weeks to go before the winners are picked! Patrick's Day and it was a lot of fun. Many of our restaurants @ 7 pm cooked up the traditional corn beef and cabbage with potatoes and carrots to the * 3/9 _ Ladies _5 pm to 9 pm delight of many. Town Square is the place to be to kick things off but most of the activity will be in the restaurants and pubs. Check with your favorite watering hole to see This will be taking place Sat. & Sun. with what activities they have in store for the street closures for Parker St., Merchant St, and the 300 block of Main st. This is the 8th year of this festival and it gets bigger and better each year. This event brings 10,000 visitors to our Downtown over the 2 days that it takes place along Main, Merchant and Parker Streets (streets are closed for the 2 days and overnight too). Again this year, the Rat-a-pult will be the featured activity at Parker and Merchant Streets. Our favorite pirate "Capt. Jack Spare Ribs" will also be returning to entertain the crowd.
