Ahoy there! Step aboard the Polly Woodside and have your very own pirate or sailor birthday party
adventure on Melbourne’s favourite tall ship!
Polly Woodside is a unique and exciting venue for children’s
parties. Built in Belfast in 1885, she sailed 1.5 million
kilometres around the globe and is one of the few deep‐
deep
water tall sailing ships still remaining.
Birthday Parties are recommended for children aged from
5‐12 years with three sessions available daily.
PARTY INCLUDES
Polly Woodside provides a specially allocated area for the party, with a Party Host to help swing into
the pirate or sailor theme.
Each child is invited with Polly themed invitations and on the day receives their very own party box with
pirate or sailor souvenirs!
Pirate Party
Our pirate host takes your pirate party on an exciting treasure hunt adventure with games, stories
and fun activities
Recommended age: 5‐10 years
Sailor Party
Our sailor host gets your party crew ship shape and ready to sail! Discover real sailing skills with stories,
games and fun sailing activities.
Recommended age: 7‐12 years
FAQ
Q. Could Polly Woodside cater for my party?
A. At the moment, Polly is unable to directly supply catering packages so we recommend that parties are self catered.
Q. How long do the parties go for?
A. We’ve reserved your party space and a special party host for 1.5 hours
Q. What time can I come along?
A. Morning
rning parties happen between: 10am – 11.30pm
Afternoon parties occur between: 12noon – 1:30pm and 2pm – 3.30pm
Q. How many friends can I bring?
A. Please bring a minimum of 12 children to your party, and select your favourite 25 friends as our party space
is limited.
Q. Can I bring a birthday cake?
A. Yes, we also have a small fridge if the cake requires refrigerating. This fridge would only be available for the
birthday cake. Please note, we don’t charge “cake corkage” and napkins are supplied.

COST AND CONTACT
$25 per child to attend the party
All hands on deck!! A ratio of 1 adult to 4 children is required at
the parties. One adult per four children free of charge. Additional
adults at general admission rates: Adults $16,, children $$9.50.
Please complete the booking form and confirm with payment
of deposit for your party booking.
Payable over the phone is a deposit of $300.
Polly Woodside themed invitations will be emailed
mailed to the Birthday family upon confirmation of booking
and payment of deposit. Cancellation and date transfer fees apply.
