“Lovely lightweight entry level clipper which is quiet and easy to manoeuvre.
It’s not got the same power as the Mini Micro (nor the same price tag).
As I regularly use an older Mini Micro, I find the cord on the iClip far superior
(no transformer to mess around with – and the cord doesn’t tangle as easily).
We used this clipper on dogs and cats, and it was fantastic on the cats in
particular due to the quiet motor.
The only drawback that I could find was that the switch was stiff to turn
on/off. However, this might have been because it was new. Interestingly, I
expected the hinge to be stiff as most of the new Laubes are, but that was
not the case.
I gave this product 4 stars out of 5, simply because I’d want more power.“

“I don’t use this on EVERY dog, but I use it often enough that I wouldn’t want
to be without it! I found it particularly useful yesterday while shaving off a
matted lhasa who had a nice collection of fleas!
A word of warning though - you must use a longer blade than what you
think. I have a powerful numatic vaccuum system so I tend to go 2 blades
higher. For example, to leave a 7F length, I use a 4F.
Another word of warning - trial and error must be used in order to get the
hang of it. I found on loose skinned dogs (like a cocker) this left really horrible clipper marks. But things like poodles or shave off lhasas in particular it
worked really well.”

Blade Performance
It is essential to keep your blades well oiled while clipping. We recommend
a “little and often” approach. Simply stop your clipper and apply a little oil to
your blade every 10 to 15 minutes.
The screws on snap on blades are not tensioning screws. If your blade stops
cutting, cleaning or sharpening will resolve the problem.

The Laube Safari Car Charger has all the same

but is fitted with a plug to fit the lighter socket in a
vehicle.

Nickel Metal Hydrate batteries are less prone to the “memory” effect found
in other batteries. However after prolonged time without use or being fully
charged/discharged, the “memory” effect can occur. This problem is easily
solved by fully discharging, then charging your battery.
Simply leave your clipper or trimmer running (without a blade attached) until
the battery is discharged, then fully charge the battery.
In some cases this process may need to be repeated several times.

Universal Dura-Lock System
Laube clippers use the Universal Dura-Lock system. This system is designed to lock all professional snap-on blades
more securely than any other clipper.
First time Laube clipper buyers sometimes have difficulty attaching blades to their new clipper, so this tutorial will
explain how to securely attach a blade to the Universal Dura-Lock system.
Move the hinge so it is in the upright position.
Place your blade onto hinge.
Turn the clipper on at a low speed setting. It is
important to have your clipper running when
attaching a blade, otherwise the lever could be
damaged when trying to push the blade on.
Hold clipper firmly, and with both thumbs push
down on the blade until you hear two clicks.
The first click you hear is the blade being locked
onto the hinge and latch assembly.
The second click you hear is your blade being securely fixed into position.

Poor blade maintenance can have devastating effects on your clipper.
A tight blade is the main culprit, usually from lack of oil & lanolin from
dog’s coats forming a varnish, sticking the blade together.
This can have a number of effects on various clippers, but ultimately
leads to excessive wear on the drive system and may cause permanent
damage.
Keeping blades clean & well oiled is key to keeping your equipment in
top working order.
Regularly clean the hair out the blade with a small brush (such as our
Mikki Teazle Cleaning Brush, which is available from our website for
free), clean hair from the clipper head around & between the hinge.
Taking your time when going through matted or thick coat will reduce
the strain on a clippers drive system.
By letting a blade go at its own pace, you will get there faster in the
long run.
When oiling or washing blades while they are still on your clipper, care
should be taken to ensure the oil or fluid does not run down inside
your clipper.
This is one of the most common causes of clippers running hot or becoming noisy, and can lead to the motor needing to be replaced.

PAL or NTSC?
Although all our DVD’s are region free, there are still two different formats to
consider;

PAL - which is the standard used in Europe, Australia and much of Asia
and Africa.
•
NTSC - which is the standard used in North America and much of South
America.
Although most modern DVD players support both standards, some may have
difficulty displaying colour or playing the DVD at all. For this reason it is improtant when ordering a DVD to specify what standard you require. This will
ensure you get the best viewing experience from our DVD’s.

Place your order online at www.technogroom.co.uk or by telephone using all major debit or credit cards. Payment is
only taken when goods are ready for dispatch. If you prefer to post your payment, then you can do so by Cheque, Postal
Order or Banker’s Draft (please do not post cash). These should be made payable to Technogroom Limited. We also accept payment by direct Bank Transfer and our bank details can be provided on request.
Please note that we do not offer credit under any circumstances, and that orders will only be dispatched upon receipt of
full cleared funds.

We attend many dog shows, competitions and seminars throughout the year. Our staff are happy to advise and help
with your product choices. At such events we normally accept payment by cash, major debit and credit cards and by

We aim to despatch your order the same or following working day. The delivery method will be dependent on order
size/weight and will be by Royal Mail, or Courier. Note: Orders sent Recorded Delivery or via courier will require a signature on delivery.

Orders up to £40 and under 1kg: £3.50
Orders over £40 and under 1kg: £5.00
Orders under £100 between 1kg and 25kg: £7.50

Prices and VAT
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and include Value Added Tax (VAT) at 20%. You will receive a detailed VAT
receipt with your delivery.
On overseas orders VAT will not be charged, providing the customer has a valid tax exemption number.
All prices are correct at the time of printing, but may be subject to change without prior notification where necessary.

Goods Out of Stock
By holding large amounts of stock, we try to ensure that all of our products are in stock at all times. Occasionally, products may become out of stock. If this happens, we will let you know as soon as possible, and offer you a proposed
delivery date if we can.
We will only take payment when goods are in stock and due to be dispatched, unless part of the order is to follow. In this
case, all monies will be taken when the first part of the order is dispatched, unless agreed with the customer beforehand.
Coloured Products
When a colour is to be specified, we will try our best to provide you with your first choice of colour. If a colour is unavailable, an alternative colour will be provided, where possible, to ensure that your order can be completed.
Unless stated that the product is of a specific colour, any colours pictured may vary from those displayed.
Returns, Damages, Shortfalls and Replacements
All goods must be inspected on delivery. Occasionally goods may be lost/damaged in transit and we will send a replacement if this occurs. In all cases we must be informed of loss/damage within 48 hours of receipt or order date, otherwise
no claim can be made or replacement sent.
In the unlikely event that there is a shortfall or error with your order, please call us as soon as possible and within 48
hours of receiving the goods.
You have the right to cancel your order within seven days of ordering, or seven days of receipt of the goods (whichever
is the longer). If you do decide to cancel you order, we will refund the full purchase price including postage providing
the goods are returned unopened/unused within 14 days of receipt. Return postage/shipping for cancelled orders will
be at your expense.
If you have ordered the incorrect goods in error, we will replace them providing they are returned unopened/unused to
us within 14 days of receipt. Please note that this will incur a return delivery charge. This does not affect your statutory
rights as a consumer.
Please ensure that all returns provide your contact details and a short note explaining the reason, even if you have discussed this with us by phone.
Warranty (other products) and Repairs
Warranty applies to goods sold against manufacturing defects for a period of 12 months and repairs for 3 months from
the time of dispatch.
Any alleged defect must be notified to us as soon as possible. If the defect is found to be due to defective materials or
workmanship then repair will be free of charge. If subsequently after inspection and testing the responsibility for the
defect is established to be due to other factors, then the repair will be chargeable. Any goods returned will be at the
Customer’s risk.
Where goods are returned outside of the warranty period, or for regular servicing, the goods will be inspected and a
quote provided for the repair. Any repair (and return carriage) will
charged to the Customer.
Goods and services are supplied on the understanding that these
terms and conditions are accepted by the purchaser.
