TELUS, in conjunction with Tom Harris Cellular, is offering
all members of the MacEwan Staff Association an
Employee Purchase Plan for their wireless devices. We
have previously offered this Employee Purchase Plan
(EPP) to the City of Edmonton employees, and the
response has been positive.
Tom Harris Cellular is TELUS' largest authorized dealer
with three locations in Edmonton and over 45 across
Alberta and BC. Your point of contact for this EPP will be
Jeff Matychuk. As this offer has been specifically
designed for the MacEwan Staff Association Employees,
and is not available to the general public, it is essential

access to this plan. Our in-store staff are unable to
access details of this rate plan, nor are they able to
provision devices onto this plan.

Two rate plan options are available to you:
1. $70/mth for any smartphone on a two year term. This
offers unlimited nationwide calling and 1 GB of data.
Unlimited text/picture/video messaging is included as
well as caller ID/voicemail 10/call waiting/conference
calling.
2. $55/mth for any smartphone on a month to month
term. This offers unlimited nationwide calling and 2 GB
of data. Unlimited text/picture/video messaging is
included as well as caller ID/voicemail 10/call waiting/
conference calling.
The $55/mth plan requires that you already have your
own phone. Your existing contract with TELUS or another
carrier may have expired. Perhaps you bought your phone
at full price from the Apple Store. Or maybe you bought a
phone off Kijiji. Whatever way you arrange it, you must
already own a phone to take advantage of the $55 plan.
If your current phone is with another carrier, you can

Freezing Your Membership
FITNESS
Are you a term employee, or away for spring and or
summer terms? Sport and Wellness members may
freeze your membership twice within a consecutive
12-month period, for a minimum of 30 days. A freeze
fee of $20/freeze is charged for each freeze. Medical
Holds are also offered on memberships with a physician statement, so if you get injured or are medically
unable to exercise, you don’t have to pay for gym
