park newport view OCTOBER 2008 ADMINISTRATOR’S COMMENTS Many years ago Park Newport started a monthly contest to encourage on-time rent payments and called it the Early Bird. Every month since then, a resident has won a free month of rent by paying on or before the first of the month. With reluctance, we have decided that the Early Bird winner selected this month will be our last. Beginning next month we will be having a different contest. This one will be to encourage on-line rent payments. One lucky resident will be randomly selected from all those who pay on-line for a free month of rent. Only one entry per apartment will be valid each month. To win, you must be a resident in good standing and pay on or before the third day of the month. The selection will be made on the fourth day, or as soon after as is practical, and announced in the following Park Newport View. Alas, we are not smart enough to devise a name for this contest. So we open that up to all of you. Please send in your suggestions by November 1. If you submit a really great name that’s selected by our office you will win a $100 gift card to Fashion Island. If you’ve never paid on-line before, please see last month’s View for instructions. Or you can call Feby in the Resident Services Office at 644-7333 for help.
