HUMAN/MACHINE INTERFACES & MONITORS This range from NSI uses the compact 25mm industrial grade trackball with black phenolic ball (TBS25 series) or with stainless steel ball
(SBS25 series). Furtheron, the unit features a stainless steel carrier
plate, a stainless steel trim protecting the trackball sealing and two
stainless steel, sealed switches. A silicone sponge which seals the unit
onto the customers’ panel is part of the supply.
Its compact dimensions make these trackball units ideally suited for
all harsh industrial applications, kiosk consoles, navigation controls,
etc… where minimal mounting space is required while maintaining
excellent vandalproof and good sealing characteristics.

This trackball unit features a robust, vandalproof construction and
all metal look: the carrier plate made of brushed stainless steel, a
stainless steel ring protecting the trackball sealing and three antivandal stainless steel and IP65 sealed switches. The 50mm trackball
unit itself can either have:
• a black phenolic resin ball for highest resistance to hostile impacts
and to scratches and with a sealing grade of IP65 static. Type

The trackball is supplied with its draining hole sealed
by a rubber insert. If required, this insert can easily be
removed by the user and replaced by an adequate tube
in order to drain any liquids from the trackball to the
outside of the users’ cabinet.

new version features an IP68 version of the Chameleon trackball. It’s equipped with the latest generation of laser trackballs

its’ IP68 grade, robustness and ease of maintenance. It features
a removable top ring facilitating the cleaning of ball and ball

These “Chameleon“ backlit NSI trackballs feature 7-colour
illumination of the total ball surface and the mouse button
legends. Up to seven different colours can be selected by
internal settings on the trackball or by remote dynamic selection
via an output connector. For both selection methods, internal
or remote, the illumination intensity can be dimmed. The total
panel mount unit is sealed to IP65 static and comes with a
silicon sponge to seal the carrier plate into the users’ cabinet or
console. The output is combo PS/2 & USB with autorecognition
and in both cases the current for the illumination is drained
from the mouse ports.

The GK25-5502 is PS/2 compatible. The GK25-5602
can be plugged into any USB port or hub. Both types
are supplied with 1,6m long shielded straight cables
and external switch cables.
The GK25-5002 has phase quadrature output: X1(Y1)
leads X2(Y2) when motion of ball in positive X(Y) direction. It is supplied with a 6-wire connection cable
of 35 cm.

ball and the trim are made of quality stainless steel. The double-sided

OEM keyboards and consoles. The GS25 is an ideal pointing device
for applications with restricted mounting space.

The Z- laser trackball provides conventional X and Y axis cursor
movement with an additional Z-axis control wheel surrounding
the ball. The Z-axis control wheel provides scroll/zoom capabilities
for more effective navigation in complex user interfaces and operating systems (please note the function of the control wheel is
software dependent). The control wheel incorporates a high quality roller bearing providing smooth and reliable motion throughout the trackball lifetime.
