2POSITIONING
FINANCE is the leading German B2B media platform in the corporate
finance area. The German language magazine FINANCE forms the core
of the brand portfolio. This publication and its European counterpart,
CFO Insight, are both leading publications amongst their respective
target groups.
FINANCE-TV reports from the heart of the European corporate finance
world. It assumes the perspective of companies and institutional investors on all issues of modern capital market financing: markets and
bonds, private equity and M&A, treasury and asset management. Essentially, each and every broadcast has to do with corporate balance
sheets and the professional capital market and banking environment.
Monthly review: “So What?”
Once a month FINANCE-TV broadcasts an episode that reviews the
events of the month. Head Anchor Michael Hedtstück takes a critical
look at the markets and dissects the topics that left their mark on that
month. He is not shy in his opinions. Who are the biggest winner and
loser? Who has distinguished themselves with clever remarks and who
has made a fool of themselves? “So What?” provides a pithy look at
the market situation every month.
Examples of FINANCE Talk topics:
FINANCE-TV is central to FINANCE’s daily online news activity
and presents the most important news regarding corporate finance
each day.
Giving Our Opinions
The editorial staff of FINANCE-TV identifies interesting interviewees
to discuss the most relevant topics concerning companies and the
markets. FINANCE Talks get right to the bottom of issues and provide
answers which get to the point quickly, concisely and insightfully. At
the end of each Talk, guests answer three yes-or-no questions posed
by the host in the “Three Questions” segment. This forces the guest to
really show their true colours on the issues at hand.

mediary and advisory financial communities, institutional investors
and affluent private investors.

makers and competent market experts. These are primarily: CFOs,

4 ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES
Advertisements can take the form of a classic commercial as well as
sponsoring an editorial focal point.
The customer is responsible for delivering the filmed material in a finalised format (production possibilities can be arranged upon request).
The available advertising opportunities are as follows:
Thematic Partnership
>>> A long-lasting thematic partnership integrates the advertisement
forms described above, makes content-related collaboration
possible and, in addition, includes second window rights for select
produced material.
Spots
>>> Pre-roll Ad: begins before the episode (max. 20 seconds)
TV Panel
>>> A TV panel incorporates content-related collaboration by carrying
out a short survey of three to four questions that are sent to a
defined core target group (e.g. CFOs, finance directors, corporate
treasurers etc.). A FINANCE Panel Talk led by a FINANCE
moderator will then present the results of this survey and include
up to two panel sponsors in the discussion. In addition, the TV
panel results will be published in an article on the FINANCE CFO
website www.finance-magazin.de and in the German language
FINANCE magazine. They will also made available to readers and
viewers as a downloadable PDF.
>>> Presenter spot (sponsorship). Here is where the text
“This episode is brought to you by...” will be shown.
Special Advertising Formats
>>> We invite you to discuss other special advertising formats, such as
placing layer ads during the broadcast, with your contact person
Dominik Heyer.
Online Advertisement
>>> Standard forms of advertising such as banners, pop-ups or skyscrapers in advertising spaces around the content of FINANCE-TV
are marketed by our agency BusinessAd (for contact details,
see point 10).
