The new Techconnect2 range incorporates a host of improvements including:
• New attractive architectural front surround redesigned so that it fits any commonly available dado backbox. It also now
has screw holders moulded into place so the plastic bag full of screws has been eliminated.
• Clip-in modules. Clip-in products are notorious for failing so rigorous testing has taken place in the quest for a tough
reliable system.
• Without deepening the 45mm backbox, 8mm extra space has been added behind the modules to make it easier to
fit cables.
• Better quality phoenix connectors, meaning screws don’t strip if over-tightened.
• By overhauling the backboxes, the push-out sections for the trunking are easier to
remove, and the double-gang backbox can now house the Techconnect Amplifier
power supply to hide it away.
• There is also a new dry-wall mud-ring which allows you to flush-mount the
Techconnect into hollow walls.
All of the improvements serve to shorten installation time
and make the range look better!

to plug into the display device and the other end is pre-prepared
bare wire ready for connection to the Techconnect modules. Because
it doesn’t have a connector it fits through small gaps as you feed the
cable, and it can be easily cut to length if you can’t hide the excess.

TWO INPUTS
Features two stereo inputs wired directly to the rear
of the module. Simply wire the audio input socket

is deliberately no input on the front panel to remove
end-user confusion about where to plug in.

Learning IR Control System for any display device
New to the Vision range, the Techconnect2 Control is a learning IR remote control designed specifically to control projectors and flat-panel screens in AV installations. Use it in every installation to standardize the way the
equipment is controlled: the users growing more confident with the equipment leading to fewer technical support calls, and losing the projector remote control will be a thing of the past.

The new universal IR remote control module takes
over the core functions of the projector remote
control.
The two centre buttons are each capable of learning
two codes each, so for projectors whose remotes
have four individual source select buttons, two
computer inputs can be assigned to one button, and
the two video inputs to the other button.
When buttons are pressed the user hears a
reassuring ‘beep’.
The Techconnect2 Control comes with a single-gang
backbox and surround, but you could choose to have
all your input connectors centralised on a
Techconnect2 faceplate right next to your control
module (as shown). Perfect for training rooms,
meeting rooms, boardrooms, and classrooms!
SECURE
BACKBOX INCLUDED
MODULAR MODULE FORM-FACTOR
Projector remote controls all vary: some have one
button for ‘power on’ and ‘power off’, and others
have two separate buttons. Techconnect2 Control
comes in modular form so can be changed to mimic
the buttons on a projector remote control functions.
Projector remote controls are all too often lost or
stolen, which often results in turning ceiling mounted
projectors on with a broom handle, or by climbing
up on the table. Techconnect2 Control will not be lost
or stolen.
3-STEP PROGRAMMING
1. Press “Learn” on the module.
2. Press the button on the module you want to
“teach”.
3. Point the original remote at the rear of the module
and press the button you want to “teach” it.
A green light confirms the learnt code. That’s it!
Comes with its own single-gang Techconnect
backbox and surround.
BATTERIES INCLUDED
Like all Vision products, we include everything you
need to finish the job. The two AAA batteries are
included and last as long as normal remote control
batteries.

for corporate applications.
DISCREET FACEPLATE
When a projector is installed on the ceiling you need
a way of plugging your laptop into it without having
to clamber up on the table. The Techconnect modular
faceplate system makes this simple allowing you to
make the input connectors available on an easily
accessible wall plate.
TABLE MOUNTED
In a boardroom or meeting room where the table is
in the centre connectors need to be in the centre of
the table for easy connection to reduce the risk of
tripping up on ugly cables strewn across the room.
MOTORIZED
Mounted into the centre of the table, touch the button
and the motorized faceplate tilts up offering power,
VGA, audio, and network connections within handy
reach.
SAFETY FEATURES
If a cup is sitting on top it will not power up tipping
coffee everywhere! And the super-robust motor will
not be damaged if a user mistakenly forces the lid
down by hand after use, rather than pressing the
touch button to make it power down. It is designed to
take the rigors of life.

SIMPLE TO INSTALL
The hole required in the table requires a 210mm
diameter. The cleanest way to cut this hole is with a
hole-saw drill bit, such as a Starrett STRHS210 with
an arbour – the same drill bit used to fit the CS-1300
Ceiling speakers.

With a whopping 2 x 25w (RMS at 8 ohms) of
power the AV-1301 has powerful sound
reinforcement capabilities for a huge range of
applications. Optimised to drive low-impedance
speakers with a power handling of up to 80w such
as the Vision SP-1300 or CS-1300 loudspeakers, it is
ideal for use in corporate training rooms, meeting
rooms, and classrooms.
FLEXIBLE
For flexibility the AV-1301 has four stereo inputs via
stereo phono (RCA) connectors. This means there are
a number of input options for a typical installation
environment. Output from iPods can be amplified,
also laptops and PCs, cassette, CD, DVD, VHS,
minidisk, tuners – anything.
READY TO INSTALL
Two thick 5m speaker cables are included, plus two
patch cables are included to allow instant easy
connection of AV peripherals: 1 x 2-phono to 2phono cable, and 1 x 2-phono to 3.5mm minijack.
There is no preparation time in the warehouse or
onsite; just takeit out of the box and go!
SECURE AND ROBUST
A unique feature of the AV-1301 is the “Kensington
Lock” slot on the rear panel, which allows you to
tether the amplifier to an immovable object, thus

Ceiling speakers are easy to install, discreet, and more importantly spread sound evenly throughout a room. Everybody
in the room should hear the audio at the same spl (sound pressure level), rather than those at the front being blasted!
HIGH-QUALITY COMPONENTS
The CS-1300 ceiling speakers feature a two-way
design giving full-bandwidth sound with control and
clarity. The main driver is a 6.5” polypropylene
cone complimented by a ferro-fluid cooled silk
tweeter set in a swivel mount for fine tuning of the
stereoscopic image.

These low impedance speakers don’t sacrifice

installation. Get a 210mm hole-saw from your local
hardware supplier (such as a Starrett STRHS210 with
an arbor), drill a hole, and fit the speaker! It’s clean
and easy. Each package contains a pair of speakers
and a cardboard cut-out guide.

Vision’s universal projector ceiling mount comes with a 1.1m pole which is cut to length onsite, meaning infinitely variable length. It can be quickly assembled in a number of different configurations: including “flush-mount”
